Not that we didn't know this, but she is truly dumb as rocks. She has just posted a TikTok talking about how her baby has been breech her whole pregnancy (and from how she describes it, sounds like a footling breech) but she still wants a home birth and is struggling to find a midwife who is willing to do it. You'd think this would scare her off the idea, but she just says "some people think it's unsafe" dismissively. She almost appears to be in denial that she has a higher risk pregnancy... but the statistics don't lie and the studies on mortality rates for breech home births are unpleasant to read. How could it possibly be worth risking your or your babies life just for the home birth experience.

Based on the content she is liking and sharing I definitely think she's fallen down the anti-science/medicine rabbit hole. Hope she has a safe birth in any case.

Personally I don’t get why anyone would want a home birth, I like the idea of being in hospital with all the drugs, and surgeons on stand by. 😅

What if baby stays breech and gets stuck, what if you need an emergency c section, what if you have lots of blood loss. Even private hospitals end up whizzing you to nhs as most don’t have a “critical care” area. What if baby gets distressed and needs assistance.
Very selfish, and I’m not surprised she can’t get a midwife to do it they have the most experience and probably don’t want to experience that on their shift

I don't think I'd feel safe having a home birth under those circumstances!
I honestly think she’s as mad as a box of frogs. Her baby is breech! Why would you want to put your baby and yourself through what could be an extremely dangerous and painful situation. And I get wanting a homebirth. Wanted one with my 3rd and was imo bullied into an induced hospital birth. But if my baby was breech, I would be without question agreeing to a c section.

I think it’s one thing putting yourself and your baby at risk, it’s another thing publicising it to impressionable followers who may make poor decisions based on your unsafe approach

Absolutely mental. Fair if she wants to attempt the V birth but do it in a safe environment where you have back up straight away if you need it!

It’s crazy. Who would want to even attempt to deliver a breech baby at home!? She’s putting her selfish needs before the safety of her baby at this point.

Gets her some Instagram likes, and probably some free nappies, so the baby’s wellbeing takes a back seat

She’s an idiot, There’s a reason why midwives don’t have experience delivering breech babies.. it’s because over hundreds of years it became apparent they get stuck and die. So hence c sections are now recommended. Also imagine being so arrogant that you assume anyone who doesn’t agree with you (someone with no medical training) must lack training..

She’s still adamant she’s going to have a homebirth. I would have thought someone in her family would have talked some sense into her by now. I just think it’s so selfish. She talks about not liking hospitals and not feeling relaxed in them which I get. But surely the safety of her baby is the most important thing at this stage. The comments on her latest tiktok are very against it as well. Lots of midwives and medical professionals commenting saying what she’s doing is extremely dangerous.

She’s off her head. She doesn’t even look serious talking on that TikTok video. Familiar smells won’t save you or your baby if god forbid there’s an emergency.

Unfortunately, this sums up the sort of people that build a public profile because they go on a reality tv show; they don’t have the IQ to perform in a traditional/ regular profession, nor do they have any real entrepreneurial skills. However, they get a platform, and some inevitable brand deals/ collaborations, to keep them going a few years, but the underlying problem is that they simply aren’t very bright and that doesn’t ever change. Instead, in manifests itself in situations like this.

I’m glad baby got here safely but I don’t think someone with a public platform should be allowed to promote having a home birth with a breech baby. She was incredibly lucky that her baby got here safely, I still don’t think she realises how dangerous it was to still choose a home birth when her baby was breech.

I bet she would have an extremely painful labour giving birth to a breech baby. All for the sake of her own selfish wishes. She’s very lucky her baby arrived safely. Silly woman.

I’m sure her response will be along the lines of
“As long as you manifest it, have fairy lights up and playing Bridgeton music, you too can birth a breech baby at home”
