Adam Clayton seems like a reasonable enough guy - why did he go out with her, even taking it as far as getting engaged? I know he had addiction issues. Or maybe he just got sucked into a toxic relationship - it can happen

Does anyone remember a documentary years ago (possibly around the early 2000s?) where they were going undercover or pretending to film a fly on the wall doco, but broadcast dodgy goings on? There was an up and coming model on there who they outed for taking c and it ruined her career. I can’t remember her name but she was British and had dark hair. Anyone? What was it called?

Adam Clayton seems like a reasonable enough guy - why did he go out with her, even taking it as far as getting engaged? I know he had addiction issues. Or maybe he just got sucked into a toxic relationship - it can happen

That whole fling with Naomi Campbell was in the early 1990s, when the supermodels were huge and some of them were hanging around in Dublin with U2.
I reckon Adam dumped her.
i think it was Gore Vidal or someone like that who said that Bono turned up to some big charity meeting in New York - drunk - and with Christy Turlington on his arm. Vidal was most disdainful of him.

I would like to know what Turlington really got up to in the 1990s.
Find it hard to believe that she was squeaky clean.
She chose her friends badly - being thick as thieves with Naomi and Kate.

They apparently started dating after he said he wished for the one thing he didn’t have which was a date with Naomi Campbell. I don’t know if it’s any deeper than just the fact that she was one of the supers and he was in one of the world’s biggest rock bands. Models and rock stars are a total cliche

Her heavy, straight eyebrow region (for want of a better description) is what made her look striking and different. Now she looks like any other Chelsea mum. It reminds me of Renee Zellweger's face changing cosmetic disaster.
