I don’t think it’s a proper comeback either, can you imagine the backlash ‘Disgraced racist instamum Clemmie Hooper attempts under the radar social media comeback during pandemic scare’ etc etc and what would her brand be now? I don’t think making her offering 90% midwifery/women’s health related would work because her credibility is shot to pieces and she’s not trustworthy or likeable. The reality for pregnant women right now is pretty fucking bleak and we certainly do not need a classist racist greedy guts to come help us. A £150 pleather backpack isn't going to reverse the months of worry we have ahead of us!! Our reality is no IRL midwife appts, scans at hospitals in lock down, no in person NCT (or local mother groups etc), no IRL pregnancy yoga or the other fluffy stuff you're meant to enjoy as a pregnant woman/couple. They've just said how our births are gonna be a 5 min affair with us leaving the units as soon as physically possible, home births entirely scrapped apparently. I'm 2 CA125 blood tests behind schedule. I don't know how we're gonna furnish the baby's room either? And a car seat so she can come home?! We're all having to adjust significantly, this isn't a moan at all as I am hugely grateful I'm so safeguarded and cared for by the NHS who are beyond wonderful, but our situation isn't fixed by the 'expertise' of a woman who's only got a few years of actual experience under her belt?!

I actually really hope she doesn't make a re-appearance because it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel for them wouldn't it, a load of really worried women at their most vulnerable, hormonal/emotional & bored sat at home with nothing else to do & no higher authority (their actual MW or mums they meet through groups) to ask for advice from... & for the very privileged minority of us, more disposable income as we're not commuting or socialising = the perfect audience to flog needless shit to. It's ghastly to even type that out, but I bet it's crossed their minds.

I checked House of Hooper this morning, was still private but had 59 followers. What has she got to offer? I too have mentioned their MH on these pages for the same reasons. We offer family to patients and their families as part of the therapeutic program and you probably wouldn't be surprised that the parents/family are totally oblivious to their own behaviours having an adverse effect on their child.
They may be in their little bubble now, but one day the bubbles burst and the real world is bang, right there.


I would love to see Theroux do a doc on this couple of fools. He would not be fooled for a moment. Sly would be in full on cringe psychosis and Clammie would have her leopard print on, drooling over Louis like an over stimulated Texas Hun!

Having 2 young adult kids go through the mental health system, first CAMHS & now adult care, I know first hand how much children are affected by bullying via internet etc and how much their self-confidence takes a battering. My youngest (19) has attempted suicide twice.
I take mental health very seriously.
These people have absolutely NO idea how much this parading of private and extremely personal photographs and behaviours will affect their children in the years to come.
It makes me so angry.
