Hence why she seems most unconcerned about any prep towards a baby arriving. If I was her I would be putting my all into getting settled into my own home. Not sharing with a load of housemates. I’ve never come across anyone who’s about to become a mum yet thinks of nothing or anyone other than herself. I take it she’s assuming her friends and family will just swoop in and do everything for her, such as buying everything the baby will need and probably expecting either her parents or aunt and uncle will sort her out with somewhere more appropriate to live too

I don’t think anyone can truly be prepared before they have their first baby for how much life changes but I really think she has no clue, she doesn’t speak with any warmth when talking about the baby. Almost totally detached.
