Defrosting freezer tip - food contents. Pile the frozen food in an empty sink. Contents like meat, chicken, fish anything you can't risk defrosting put at the bottom of the pile, veg and breads on top. Cover the pile with metal oven trays.
Get the freezer defrosting ASAP.
Use hot water in bowls in the freezer to help loosen the ice. Use a fish slice kitchen utensil to scrape the ice or a car window ice scrapper.

Everything you bin from your home, write down how much it cost, after a while there will be quite a pricey sum of money wasted. This money could have been spent on something/ put in savings, your car will need maintenance as cars do. Be proactive with the car, not reactive.

And!!!!! You do not need Apps to save money!!!!!

Absolutely agree with being proactive not reactive with a car! She hasn’t mentioned getting that noise looked at or how much it cost to repair, you’d think that would be a good reel to make while she was breaking down costs of driving to inspire people to start. I reckon she’s just ignoring it.

She doesn’t know the value of anything because she’s never had to earn any of it, and so she never looks after her stuff. It’s all so throwaway to her because it’s fully funded for free. She got rid of a perfectly good £1.2k buggy on a whim, doesn’t bother taking carrier bags with her to the shop, tossed out the kids’ perfectly fine beds... and then look at that brand new DFS sofa she got! Covered in food and crayon and she’s had it 5 minutes (and will be paying it off over 4 years).

I really wouldn’t be surprised if that car is on the scrap heap by the end of the year because she didn’t value it enough to care and then she’s left paying extortionate finance on a car she no longer has.

I am often surprised at how much people spend on unnecessary stuff in the supermarket, particularly when they say they’re on a budget. When my second child was a few months old, my husband lost his job. I was on stat mat pay. To make our meagre savings stretch, I took out EVERYTHING unnecessary from the groceries. Even though that was 10 years ago now, those habits stuck.

Don’t buy squash or fizzy drinks or fruit juice. No convenience food. Batch prep homemade pasta and curry sauces. Look for yellow labels always. Never buy single use things like wipes or kitchen paper. Do buy fresh meat and veg and fruit, and huge discount bags of pasta and rice. Choose own brands or discount offers for toiletries.

It’s crazy how much money she’s wasted, while she is patting herself on the back for changing her habits.

She posted a full length picture on her stories today that’s just made me even more suspicious that she’s hiding a bump because it’s definitely an old photo!

She’s wearing summer clothes, her face is suddenly slimmer, her hair is shorter than in the recent stuff she’s posted, and she’s got an old scab on her chin where she’s been picking spots in the exact same place as her chin scab was when she posted her hair cut reel last summer.

Today’s pic:

Her reel when she went driving on her own for a hair cut and the identically placed chin scab:

I don’t trust a single person who aspires to make a living out of “influencing”. You just know they’re all born liars who will set out to deceive their audience to benefit themselves and themselves only.

They’ll say anything for a brand deal with a brand they don’t even believe in or use!

There needs to be a crackdown on regulating influencer marketing, it’s just not fair on the consumer.

Minnie is really stupid, or does not give a rit because she has never and does not work for a thing - been handed a house..is on full benefits because she us a single mother. Or both !

Yep, photo posted today is for Tattle benefit, but, it is an old photo - not what she currently looks like.

It is because she's never had to work, save for anything. Currently, her situation - she's safe in her brand new council house as she's fully supported by the Government.
Whilst people that work get ducked daily! I own my own business and have just had to pay a huge amount in tax and then have another to pay in June, cause this lovely government wants you to pay half your tax bill for next year! Yay. And then you have bleeps like this never knowing true hardship

I started following her because I also was a care leaver who had kids really young and related to her journey, but she’s become so try-hard and fake! She’s living her life as per what sells now, not what is authentically her or has her kids in mind.

She is commodifying her children’s existence, exploiting them for content, and then pretending like it’s in their best interests? What happened to the Minnie who cared about covering their faces? I rated that. I think she must have realised her engagement dropped because n0nces weren’t interested anymore, and that was more important to her than their safety and privacy of course.

It’s just so disappointing to see someone I genuinely liked morph into a brand rather than a human. There are some people that go viral who should sit down and accept that it might have just been 15 minutes of fame, and that they don’t need to be sucked into the culture of being eternally performative online; I think Minnie is one of them.

She needs to reevaluate and seek some therapy. She’s a seriously damaged young girl who needs her ego stroking to compensate for her bad childhood. It’s tragic that she feels she needs to post ‘woe is me’ to 100k strangers for validation, and that she expects that all the attention she should receive should be positive. That’s not real life. In the real world, if you brand yourself a public figure then you’re open to public scrutiny as much as praise - what’s so hard for influencers to understand about that? You can’t just demand 24/7 a-licking and endless cash for very little effort!

It’s not even like what she does makes her enough money to justify the risks she takes anyway, she’s still openly dependent on benefits:

IMG_9448.jpeg

She’s honestly in lala land if she thinks influencing will ever be her main income with how inconsistently she posts, how uninformed and uninspiring her posts are, and if she thinks endless streams of babies and demands for bigger council houses will encourage positive engagement forever. She’s much too sensitive and vulnerable to be a controversial, rage baity influencer like Alex, and without that, now that she’s finished decorating her council house and isn’t a single mum anymore, she’s got nothing of interest left to give. Nobody actually wants recipe content from someone who buys jars of pasta sauce or slow cooks a potato for nine hours only to whack tuna mayo on it, and nobody wants clueless budget content from someone who makes a 90p saving then spends 80p on carrier bags 🤣 She’s preaching to a choir who already have access to more polished versions of this kind of content.

She can do better by her kids and make something of herself, I do believe that! She just needs to stop pretending to be something she isn’t. She could take her content creation and social media management skills into working facelessly for local businesses. She’s already got the eye, the knack, the social media presence (she would just need to archive all of her personal content). She’s got an expensive fancy camera, the editing skills, she’s got her own transport, and she could work flexibly at home and around childcare easily. Lots of little businesses can’t afford their own in-house content creator or social media manager and would pay her to make videos or manage socials for them (@jzs has made a killing doing it!). And she can still do what she’s good at whilst safeguarding her family and without exposing their personal lives to the world for dissecting.

But of course, she wouldn’t want to do something like that because it’s actually work. Girls who pop out kids expecting benefits and housing handouts don’t want to work.

I wonder why she took all her stories down? Realised she’d outed herself as a liar?

Wonder if she ran the saving amount and the receipts past the client - Jamdoughnut before posting the content? I can not imagine Jamdoughnut want ridiculous advertising like she did. 90p saved whilst 80p spent on carrier bags.

They would want prospective App users to see a meaty saving to reel them into their product.

I used to work in the PR/Marketing industry. This rit these days is an absolute joke.

I also come from a PR background and honestly, long gone are the days that brands sent bloggers gifts for honest reviews. Now they just send cash incentivised scripts for ads and people like Minnie lap it up thinking they’re doing the world a service by mis-selling useless tat and dodgy schemes.

I hate “influencing”.

I worked in the Business Sector not Consumer. No idea what that's like now. I was pre social media so right out the loop now.

I Am Mum Bum posted recently in response to people criticising her adverts saying they were tired of seeing so many accounts sharing the same boring rit. She basically said it wasn’t up to her how many influencers a brand hired at once, she just gets offered a deal and if it aligns with who she is and she believes in the product she’ll take the pay and the script and promote the product. Girl’s making a living! (Without sharing her kids’ private details and faces, I hasten to add…)

Unfortunately though, not many influencers have that kind of integrity to turn down a deal if it doesn’t represent who they are. Small time influencers like Minnie are so so so desperate for validation and recognition they’ll take anything. The JamDoughnut thing is a classic example: She’s never spoken about budgeting or showed any interest in being money conscious (quite the opposite!) until she got offered that deal. Now she’s trying to make it her personality. It’s so false and obviously so.

Influencer marketing is basically clever people using dumb and vain and insecure people to sell products to dumb and vain and insecure people.

Minnie has posted today in Brooklyn Beckham's style post format

She's having a hard time. Comments have got to her. If people don't like her - don't follow her. And her bf has been harassed (this is appalling, must be some stupid young lad)

I do not dislike her. She is a victim of her circumstance, that said, I will not agree with it and hold my opinion. It's what she does and putting online. No -one on here has been horrible about her appearance. It was mentioned the photo was an old one because of obvious differences.

She could train in childcare as a childminder to work at home. Influencing I.e sales/marketing/pr is a skilled profession. She is not any where near qualified to do this job.
With some education, deep thought and direction she could be doing a job better suited.

The benefits, brand new council house. Ripped up carpets, expensive sofa, rug, car seats, knee-jerk driving lessons en mass, never ending expensive kids clothes, it gets up many folks noses, especially now in this never ending cost of living crisis. Some working families can not live anywhere near spending this way. Working folk are working and paying vast tax to pay for the Minnie's. She is the one showing this life off..no different to the TV progmme years ago Benefits Street. Viewers were livid, difference now, social media we can rant.

I didn’t even notice that story today! Do we think she reads here?

Where is anyone making fun of her weight, face or acne? Speculating on a hidden bump (when she herself keeps talking about needing a bigger house and bigger pram etc) and playing Spot The Difference with her selfies to catch out her lies is absolutely not making fun. And if people know what’s going on in her private life and recognise her partner out and about, that’s only because she’s overshared publicly and reinforced parasocial relationships with complete strangers by broadcasting to them like they’re old pals. Nobody should be “antagonising” him about a loss, but the way she’s misrepresented the things people have said about her, it makes me think that’s not even the full truth, it’s a sympathy lure. She’s creating her own narrative for effect.

It’s like she’s got victim complex. Twisting people’s words just to take offence so she can wallow in self-indulgent pity and harness sympathy from others is seriously concerning attention seeking behaviour. I think she needs to come off the internet and get some proper help.

Tbh this was my thoughts too... it reads that she's being purposely vague about whatever bad thing happened because it's a half truth. The comments aboout weight, skin etc, I suppose are people talking here about noticing the differences in her appearance and that has only happened because she's tried to pass off a selfie from months ago as recent... pure observations about that were all i remember seeing here, no fun being made of it. Plus, she's kinda contradicting herself by implying her and her partner are being harassed in public to saying then its a "small handful" of people. Maybe I've become biased but nothing seems authentic from her to me. Even her "origin" story provokes zero sympathy from me tbh. Maybe that's harsh to some but her story is far from unique... and hoenstly is relatively tame compared to a lot of care leavers tbh. Aside from all of that she's still very young and in a much better place now to start pursuing the life she wants for herself and her kids, yet all she's positioning herself to do is post poorly thoughtout videos online for money. Minnie, with all due respect - get yourself back to education, give yourself and those kids a better chance of breaking the clear cycle of trauma and poverty you have experienced.
