I’m not even against co-sleeping, I did it with my kids, but there are some pretty basic guidelines to follow to reduce risk of SIDS, not to mention common sense! Surely it’s just common sense to not have feline fecal matter transferred to the place where baby sleeps, and not having a baby under the age of 12 months underneath a duvet, especially as the weather is warming too!

But then, when has she ever shown common sense? Not using contraception in the early stages of a relationship 🤦‍♀️ Having a third child with no real plan on how to financially support and house them without a taxpayer bail out 🤦‍♀️ Having a baby with someone you’ve never lived with 🤦‍♀️ Getting locked into an £11,000 credit arrangement on a car that isn’t suitable for imminent plans to grow a family - whilst on benefits! 🤦‍♀️ Posting children’s names, pictures, birthdays and other sensitive information to hundreds of thousands of followers 🤦‍♀️ Promoting savings of 80p on groceries with an app to then spend it on carrier bags instead of taking others to reuse 🤦‍♀️ Taking 8 hours to make a jacket potato in a slow cooker while you’re literally at home all day 🤦‍♀️ I could go on…

The link to her sob story earlier was quite enlightening, I’m very new to Minnie.

It really showed her immaturity.

I’m not going to doubt that her mum married an emotionally immature man who didn’t know how to channel his frustrations into anything other than shouting and punching walls, and that that was utterly horrific for her mum and all the children in the house. I married one of those kind of guys once too, I get it. But all the “recordings” of him allegedly being abusive seem to me to be nothing more than an inarticulate bloke trying his level best to guide a teenage stepdaughter who is being a brat.

He told her at 18 she’s accountable for her actions, that she has to pay rent in the home she lives in regardless of how many nights of the week she chooses to stay elsewhere, that she can’t ’treat her mum like that’. He ain’t wrong. He sounds at the end of his tether after trying to do his level best with a teenage diva. And she calls that… narcissistic abuse?

The fact she’s then tried to capitalise on a pretty standard human family spat, and framing it like some tragic tale of abuse for clout, makes me really angry. She’s also outed herself as a total liar. She keeps claiming she was “homeless”, but it appears very exaggerated for impact. What it seems she really meant was she had a couple of bogstandard teenage hissy fits and spent 5 days refusing to go home until social services intervened and took her back again.

“You kicked me out.” she says.
“That’s a really shit way to put it.” he says, calmly, meaning he’s not actually thrown her out, it’s likely more nuanced than that, he probably told her if she doesn’t want to pull her weight and drop the attitude then she needs to find somewhere else to be and she went off in a sulk.

Lots of families have those kind of heated conversations in utter despair with their teenagers. I got “kicked out” all the time and swore I’d never be like that with my own teens but BOY have I come close! Parenting teens is really hard work.

She claims she told college she was being abused and they, obviously with a duty of care, sourced her emergency accommodation in a room in a hostel. I bet she thrived on that, feeling like some kind of Jacqueline Wilson character and getting to use videos of herself crying about it as “content” for pity and freebies.

I’m sure it all felt very difficult for her, being a teenage girl and her mum marrying a man who doesn’t sound particularly bright and didn’t know what the hell he was doing with an authority-resenting, angsty, entitled, hormonal teenage girl. But the voice clips do not tally with the narrative she is spinning, I think there are two versions of this, and I actually think it’s in incredibly poor taste to be monetising what sounds like all she ever did was throw her toys out her pram.

Her wide open Facebook post about her first Mother’s Day is tragic as hell as well. “I’ve always wanted to be a mummy and now it’s FINALLY happened”. Finally? You were 18!

She’s just a massive attention seeker. And I’m not saying that like it’s a character flaw per se, she was clearly a child who didn’t have her needs met and that’s really sad. But she needs fucking therapy and real life friends, she doesn’t need to be selling every private detail of her existence (and her children’s existence) to TikTok for crying out loud.

These “Mummy Influencers” are THE WORST. No child should live out their childhoods in the public eye like this. Showing 130k (mostly creepy male) strangers your little girl’s bedroom, her sacred safe space where she sleeps, is just really odd man. I don’t care how much money it makes, it shouldn’t be a “thing” to exploit your kids’ precious childhoods like that. Why have we normalised this behaviour? Kids deserve privacy. I can’t wait for the day being a “mummy influencer” is framed as the abuse it really is. Those poor kids.

ETA: Sorry, I deep dived into her this evening. There’s so much to unpack!

It’s the boohoo my babydaddy ignored me while I was giving birth that got me. She keeps alluding to abuse from him but never quite saying it, it just feels attention seeky/click baity.

If he was a 30 year old adult I’d say that’s despicable, he should be accountable for caring for the mother of his child, but this lad was also a kid. 18 year olds aren’t supposed to know how to be loving and supportive partners in serious life-altering situations, they’re meant to be figuring out who they are and where they belong in the world. He was in the room, that says he half knew it was right to be there, but he looks so gormless in all her old videos I think he was probably like a rabbit caught in headlights. Maybe he was also traumatised, Minnie? At that age, with no life experience, who can really blame him?

I think it’s in very poor taste to publicly go and badmouth the father of her children at any age though, to divulge that delicate and sensitive insight into their relationship for the world to pick apart and pass judgement. Not only does she risk destabilising any potential future for effective co-parenting, but that’s out there on the internet now for her kids to be wounded by.

I think I’ve said this before, but it seems the decision to have children was calculated on Minnie’s part and she just chose an easily led sap of a boyfriend to go along with it. She posted at 18 about “finally being a mum”. Finally. At 18. Starting a family was clearly something she thought about more than the average teenage girl for it to have felt so long-awaited. I blame her good-for-nothing sponger parents with their 11 benefits-raised kids between them who left this little girl to struggle without proper guidance and led by example.

She definitely saw it as the easy route to independent living, housing and money, she was lonely, and she didn’t have the insight or maturity to realise she had childhood hurt to process before trying to bring life into the world with the first boy to want to dip his wick in her. She clearly wanted to make a family for herself who would have no choice but to love her back, but choosing the wrong teenage lad to do it with backfired. She doesn’t then get to slag him off online, just because she made naive decisions. What if he started doing the same? What if he started telling 200k people on the internet personal stuff about their time together? I bet he and his family would portray her as a very different person to the Minnie brand she’s trying to build.

I agree, influencers need to disappear forever. They all need to go and get some self-awareness and therapy and take their kids’ personal lives off the internet.

Margo is just a bit like if you order Margot from Temu. It’s a cheap knock off of a pretty name. I do hate it when chavs take perfectly lovely names and try to give them an edge with an alternate spelling. They just set their kids up for a lifetime of correcting people and it’s sad. A tragedeigh some might say.

I'm an austistic adult who is hyperlexic so I just want to chime in here to say that hyperlexic kids very commonly turn into quite academically burnout and exhausted adults. Please look out for that if you suspect your kids fall into that category. Please be mindful of celebrating them without unintentionally pushing their special interests, intelligence or academic achievements as their personality wholly, or what makes them "them" if you will ...it's a hard identity shift to unravel in adulthood. Also it's quite often diagnosed alongside autism, it was a major part of my autism being diagnosed as a child. I flew under the radar a lot due to being academically focused and articulate from a very young age. While some of this may sound positive please just be aware that it can actually be quite an all encompassing hyperfixation that distracts from other developmental or social milestones, that inherently internalises a connect between self esteem and productivity.

Other than that, any specifically themed encyclopedia, interesting looking thesaurus' or games centred around words have always been a favorite item of mine to be gifted, and very much still are. Do with that whatever you will lol.

She posted a full length picture on her stories today that’s just made me even more suspicious that she’s hiding a bump because it’s definitely an old photo!

She’s wearing summer clothes, her face is suddenly slimmer, her hair is shorter than in the recent stuff she’s posted, and she’s got an old scab on her chin where she’s been picking spots in the exact same place as her chin scab was when she posted her hair cut reel last summer.

Today’s pic:

I don’t trust a single person who aspires to make a living out of “influencing”. You just know they’re all born liars who will set out to deceive their audience to benefit themselves and themselves only.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when she got really upset and started fishing for sympathy, jumping on the body shaming bandwagon, all because someone was “commenting on her weight”. How dare she cry wolf! She hasn’t “gained weight”, she actually was pregnant all along!

Fair play she threw me off the scent a moment with a kitten and I started to think oh maybe she’s not actually that fucking stupid to be pregnant. But oh wait, yeah she is, and transparent as we’ve all said for so long. Two bedroom council house, car on finance, two toddlers, a kitten that needs spaying, how is she thinking she’ll afford it with her benefits? Exploiting her children for clicks? Begging the state for more money and bigger housing? What a sicko.

So she’s been with this man not even a year, is already several months pregnant, and claims to have miscarried his baby last year too, so how quickly was she pregnant the first time? Jesus wept. I can’t believe people are praising and enabling this behaviour. Silly little girl.

I know they do, the HA and fully social are plainer homes . Shared ownership sometimes have small detached. Some claimants takes money from the government and rent. That house looks private to me
I respectfully disagree. There are some lovely looking social housing places near me, you couldn’t tell them apart from private. I’m in a home swap group too and some of the more modern social housing looks so swanky, I saw a flat in Westminster that I thought must be a joke but it wasn’t - it was done up really high spec by the developers. I think it depends on the developer and their budget.

It really wouldn’t surprise me if her mum’s was social housing, Minnie did an ad for a carpet company because her mum had to get her own carpets laid. Private landlords wouldn’t rent a house with no carpet like HA do.

Minnie’s been gifted an offer of more flooring that she doesn’t need so she’s re-gifting the offer her mum… the same mum who allegedly made poor abused Minnie “homeless” two years ago.

Her mum has 5 other kids at home and lives in a council house too. She clearly knows the system, they played it good and proper didn’t they?

Exactly. 2 of my kids have SEN (1 severely autistic the other has mild CP) and I don't even mention it on my SM to people I know. Rarely post pics of em and when I do I make sure my settings are private and the people I have on SM are people I actually know.(I do post first day of school and Xmas day photos that sort of thing). Just couldn't imagine selling my kids out or breaching their privacy like that.
Exactly! We all have hardships to navigate, it takes a special kind of self-obsessed to think your story is worthy of sharing with the public, let alone making money out of.

I think the reason Millie has rubbed me up the wrong way is because her story is like the fat-free version of my own.

I suffered horrific abuse, it wasn’t just a few hurty words and someone who raised their voice and punched some walls boohoo. I was sleeping on the streets for weeks aged 13 before being fostered. I was so neglected that nobody even reported that I was missing. I’d left for fear of my life. I cannot even, for fear of triggering, retell the things that happened to me on those streets. The trauma I endured that, in comparison to the rest of my life, felt so freaking minimal it took me the best part of two decades to realise that that wasn’t actually normal and I never deserved any of it.

I had two kids young, really young, younger than her, products of abuse, one disabled, and yes sure, I ended up in council housing initially but it was a stepping stone for me. I decorated it on a budget and made it cosy and homely for my kids but at no point would it have crossed my mind that what I was doing was in any way spectacular and worth shouting about Jesus Christ, or that it was anyone’s business but ours what our life looked like.

Should I start a TikTok? I’m sure my now grown children would be thrilled to have their faces plastered all over the internet non-consensually alongside my tales of woe. At least they might get some discount on carpet out of it, that’ll make it okay.

She’s 20. Her children are under two years old. Being fertile and keeping two small children fed and clothed on benefits, grifted cash and freebies for less than two years isn’t “inspirational”. Is the bar really this low?

Come back in 25 years when your kids are well-adjusted adults with aspirations and careers and tell your “inspirational” tale of how it started. For now, she’s nothing more than a big kid with a sob story and a couple of rugrats and a house built by taxpayers paid for by taxpayers. This is the beginning of her story, not the end of it. She’s got their entire lives to navigate yet before we can say she’s inspirational. Her kids might become serial killers yet.

I would love to see the stats on how many third children are being born into benefits claiming households now the two child cap has been lifted. Bravo, Labour. Way to add to the housing crisis and the demands for bigger council housing, the education crisis, the NHS crisis, etc. Thicko baby addicts like Minnie, with no regard for the cost of everything, or how hard and expensive parenting is once the cute ickle babies actually start growing up, will be draining us dry.

I think it should have been a discretionary lift. Like, you can claim for more than two children if your family were plummeted into unforeseen hardship. But for babies born deliberately to parents expecting the state to foot the bill, it should be food and nappy and uniform vouchers and that’s it. Popping out babies on the dole shouldn’t be an alluring lifestyle to the work shy.

Those kids might be dressed nice and played with, but she’ll never adequately meet the needs of multiple grown children, teenagers and young adults. That daughter of hers will be the next generation to know no better than breeding for benefits.

Funny how it all coincides with the 2 child cap being lifted eh. She's going to end up just like her mum. More kids than she can manage to more dads than she can count.

From the sounds of it, Minnie grew up in an abusive home in poverty. Why would she want to overcrowd her kids and keep having more and more children that she can't afford instead of making sure her current children have a good life and plenty of experiences and opportunities to thrive. More kids when you can't afford the ones you've got is never a good idea.

I reckon a pregnancy New Year Eve/Day announcement!

Notice Kyle there on Christmas morning in matchy family pjs,her ittle boy boping him with some play hammer. Shocks me how soon some females conceive so early in a relationship and having around their little ones. I don't believe for a moment her step dad abused her, if he had she'd want to shield and protect her innocent babies.

What does she mean about what happened with her son’s birth?

I feel incredibly sad for Minnie.

I think the first was just as deliberate as the second. She was a very muddled little girl looking for stability and a family, she even says on her Facebook at 18 that she’s finally a mum. It’s obviously what she always wanted, a little unit to love her without condition, but she didn’t expect that her teenage boyfriend of 3 months wouldn’t magically morph into a supportive father and partner just because she got pregnant. And then getting pregnant again to try and put right what he got wrong first time around backfired too. He wasn’t ready, and I’d argue that neither was she really. Nobody can dispute that she tried her hardest to do right by those little ones, but she’s still got so much growing up to do herself. She comes across as so naive 💔

Yes her ex should have taken care of contraception on his end, but accidents are always going to happen when you’re young, dumb, and sleeping with someone who is desperate to be a mother.

It’s all a bit tragic really.

It’s so uncomfortable seeing someone think they need to publicly “address” their private breakup like they’re some kind of celebrity. It’s actually so cringey. She’s tried to do it diplomatically but also, why does she feel so compelled to share her life online?

Because she’s lonely. She’s screaming out for attention and validation, and everyone who should give a toss is ignoring her. It’s really sad that her mother (who she just got free carpet for) is too busy to bother with her and her dad is just as involved as her now-ex. She’s so isolated, that breaks my heart.

I agree with her that everyone needs a support network, but that’s family and friends in the flesh, mother & baby groups, and online parent forums and group chats, that’s not 142k bots, creepy men, “fans”, brands, and other influencers who would throw you under the bus for a free Haven holiday. She needs an intimate support network, not a superficial one. If she deleted her Instagram and TikTok tomorrow, I wonder how many of those people who say aw your so strong bbz would even give her a second thought. 💔

Influencing gives me such an ick for many reasons, but this is one. Vulnerable people get sucked in and think ‘likes’ are real love.

I think Margot is a gorgeous name. But I must say Margo just looks like a letter is missing and/or a cheap holiday resort. Gorgeous wee one though (but we should not have seen her and it's another small fit exploited)

Thing is, the internet isn’t dumb and someone will undoubtedly have reported her to be investigated for benefits fraud already. Just look at what happened to Alex Wren! Owes DWP £5000 because someone spotted she was paying her influencer income into a limited company and then paying herself a small salary under the threshold for losing her benefits.

When she was caught she played the “I’m just a girl” card, like she didn’t know that wasn’t allowed and thought her company technically owned that money, but she knew damn well what she was playing at, the grifting Grinch fingers.
