No haha! But the first big reality tv couple that i remember the public falling in love with were Helen Adams and Paul Clarke from Big Brother in 2001.

This is what I thought! This was back when I LOVED BB and would even watch them through the night sleeping! Helen “I love blinking I do”

I just googled it you can see what dickheads his family are.. sure his mum an jess fancy him themselves he cries then mentions the model somehow at the end..
Also Lauren was so pretty on the YouTube clip. She’s such a train wreck now

He bloody loved her alright or else he wouldn’t have cried and that wasn’t put on at all.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he has totally played down his 11year relationship with LG to MK, I can just see that and I can see him saying “aww Mich I felt sorry for her, I slept with her a few time’s out of pity and she got obsessed with me and now she sees that I have you and can’t handle it”

Just to confirm this on my hen do a few years ago he was there in OBC
He was on a cheaper table than us, he called over me and 4 friends and asked to get to know us! We obv declined as it was my hen do and then later he had 4-5 girls on his table all over them! he was a sleeeeeze! I met mark once he was nice! She seems quite nice too but I can’t be bothered to really follow their lives anymore they seem quite irrelevant now

Someone asked Max George in the last few years about Michelle he said he was wrong for what he did but that he had a major drinking problem throughout their whole relationship and couldn’t even remember key moments in their relationship cos it was so bad.

Max also went on to say that he came to realise it was for the best they split because part of the drinking was him not being happy with her and it was toxic, then also went on to imply being with her isn’t all it’s cracked up to be basically but wished her all the best.

I think Max was her big love, so it’s sad for her. She was far more happy and natural looking with Max.

Reading this comment confirms to me that being this level of ‘celebrity’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. So many people aspire to be like them and have the life they have but it seems it’s all smoke and mirrors and there are some pretty messed up people In that world

Lauren and Mark remind me of Gaz and Charlotte in Geordie Shore, even though it’s reality tv and ‘not real’ they have that intense first love thing about them that really can duck you up. The Wright family is so TRIBAL, out to show solidarity and intimidate, I saw a picture of them about a year ago celebrating some family event in Spain, they were all standing outside Elliot Wright's restaurant. They were loads of them there, Marks's immediate family plus all his Uncles and Aunts, cousins and their kids and ol Granny and Grandad Wright who are about 120 years old. Every single one of them were dressed in white from head to toe, they looked stupid, tasteless and chavvy (they probably thought they looked classy innit) but it shows what a tribe mentality they have, I would be cringing if I was an in law who had married into that awful clan and having to dress the same as all of them its almost as if everyone has to erase their personality to become a welcomed member of the Wright family.

Marks ignoring Lauren because he knows he was a bleep. He's in no position to try and be friends with her after what he did. He's a dirty bleeping dog. He's abusive and he needs to accept it rather than think he's some sort of wonder stud.

I think she’s very boring looking probably doesn’t know how to let her hair down and enjoy herself as to busy trying to keep a good image and look good. I personally don’t think she’s as pretty as other people seem to think she is. imo just an ordinary looking girl nothing startling not being witchy but just don’t get the hype with her

The one who says it all to me is Chanelle Hayes. Famous back in the days when lads mags would pay £3k for a shoot and the glossies sold 400k copies so would pay for content too - and she was never flashy, didn’t have the 10k handbags or monthly holidays abroad - yet 15 years on she clearly doesn’t have a lot of money, still occasionally makes the papers for her weight or relationship issues, and it got out there for all to read that her mum was a prostitute. No minor amount of fame was worth the life she got out of it.

And then there was another Mark Wright on company house (Mark William Wright- his Dad) and his Dad's company is registered to one of the houses that Mark renovated and sold! He loved Lauren no doubt. Thats passion that emotion. But perhaps he likes control and power over his partners in relationships? Her self esteem lowered with every betrayal. Its shameful what he did! Hopefully he regret that. Lauren use to look like him facially before the OTT fillers. Its like she has ruined her natural beauty.

Same I don’t think she is as pretty as she has been made out either but imo, she is more sexy than pretty and her looks are pretty fake because she didn’t look like that when she first started in Corrie so it’s fake. Nice body but not curvy enough and sexy husky voice.

Not really sure she was v attractive in those days and they put great store by that, I wonder if they found her a bit needy as her own Mum wasn't around, so MAYBE, she started to relate to Carol as a mother figure? Then of course that made her vulnerable and they are the types who will trample on the vulnerable? Or did the Wrights just think that she was just a teenage fling and that their lovely, handsome boy would end up with someone better than Lauren and they really didn't think she was good enough for their tribe. My ex was similar to Mark in his arrogant cheating ways and his brother and him were mummy's boys. She hated me for absolutely no reason other than I told her precious son the truth of his ways. I think mothers can't accept they've done a crappy job and its always the womans fault. Mother in law from hell is a big thing. My mother is the same to my sister in law when my brother treats her like tit. Luckily she has my sis and I on her side , but we wish she would leave him. To be fair our mother doesn't really get involved in the dramas anyway so its no carol wright situ.
