Reading this comment confirms to me that being this level of ‘celebrity’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. So many people aspire to be like them and have the life they have but it seems it’s all smoke and mirrors and there are some pretty messed up people In that world

Tbf to the guy, the media and Lauren would have a field day if that happened. The only reason that story came about was because Lauren shared it in an interview. The Wright family is so TRIBAL, out to show solidarity and intimidate, I saw a picture of them about a year ago celebrating some family event in Spain, they were all standing outside Elliot Wright's restaurant. They were loads of them there, Marks's immediate family plus all his Uncles and Aunts, cousins and their kids and ol Granny and Grandad Wright who are about 120 years old. Every single one of them were dressed in white from head to toe, they looked stupid, tasteless and chavvy (they probably thought they looked classy innit) but it shows what a tribe mentality they have, I would be cringing if I was an in law who had married into that awful clan and having to dress the same as all of them its almost as if everyone has to erase their personality to become a welcomed member of the Wright family.

Marks ignoring Lauren because he knows he was a cunt. He's in no position to try and be friends with her after what he did. He's a dirty fucking dog. He's abusive and he needs to accept it rather than think he's some sort of wonder stud.

Lauren's also acted a knob but also typical for someone who was in an abusive relationship. Maybe she bested on about him for years because she wanted people to actually listen and no one really did. They all told her he was no good for her but they didn't really listen to what the abusive dwarf was like.

They remind me so much of my ex husband’s family. They once did this on holiday in Greece, my ex mother-in-law hated me though, so didn’t tell me what they had planned, and they brought a blue coloured shirt for my ex husband to put on when he got there. I stood back and laughed as they had their photos taken, happy for passersby to assume I had nothing to do with them!! That just brought up some repressed memories

She seems to let her hair down with her fellow actor on our girl, seems to have a very good time with him

Famous back in the days when lads mags would pay £3k for a shoot and the glossies sold 400k copies so would pay for content too - and she was never flashy, didn’t have the 10k handbags or monthly holidays abroad - yet 15 years on she clearly doesn’t have a lot of money, still occasionally makes the papers for her weight or relationship issues, and it got out there for all to read that her mum was a prostitute. No minor amount of fame was worth the life she got out of it.

I read earlier on this thread that mark had invested in property in chigwell so went looking to see if they are sold and also nosey at his company house filing which I dont understand. And then there was another Mark Wright on company house (Mark William Wright- his Dad) and his Dad's company is registered to one of the houses that Mark renovated and sold! I hope he gave his Dad mates rates.

He loved Lauren no doubt. Thats passion that emotion. But perhaps he likes control and power over his partners in relationships? Her self esteem lowered with every betrayal. Its shameful what he did! Hopefully he regret that. Lauren use to look like him facially before the OTT fillers. Its like she has ruined her natural beauty.

The truth is generally a PR company are there to mask the bad image, reinvent it, polish it up. Remember PR guru Max Clifford. He us to break all the big celeb scandals and mustve also hidden a few over the years too.

Same I don’t think she is as pretty as she has been made out either but imo, she is more sexy than pretty and her looks are pretty fake because she didn’t look like that when she first started in Corrie so it’s fake. Nice body but not curvy enough and sexy husky voice.

Not really sure she was v attractive in those days and they put great store by that, I wonder if they found her a bit needy as her own Mum wasn't around, so MAYBE, she started to relate to Carol as a mother figure? My ex was similar to Mark in his arrogant cheating ways and his brother and him were mummy's boys. She hated me for absolutely no reason other than I told her precious son the truth of his ways. I think mothers can't accept they've done a shitty job and its always the womans fault. Mother in law from hell is a big thing. My mother is the same to my sister in law when my brother treats her like shit. Luckily she has my sis and I on her side , but we wish she would leave him. To be fair our mother doesn't really get involved in the dramas anyway so its no carol wright situ.
