The new video ( which is CONTENT) is basically “why I don’t use my child as content”. She spends the majority of her time stating she doesn’t want the child to be exposed or ridiculed while at the same time filling her socials with closeup pictures of herself feeding him in see through pink lingerie, naked on her wedding day or upside down on a tree stump, and takes videos of him trying to hide while he poops. What planet is she on?
All she does is hiding some parts of his face, she’s nearly fully shown him at this stage. To me not showing my son online would mean he is completely absent from any photos or videos shared online. She shares information about his personality, shares photos that show 90% of him so what’s the point?
And I’ve said it before but she shares where she lives and the exterior of her home. She shares the supermarket she shops in (while she’s there) and the restaurant she frequents in Skerries. She’s not a remotely private person and if someone wants to find out information about her and her family, it’s not hard to do based on the level of detail she shares.
You’re 100% correct that if she’s serious about her son’s privacy she would not feature or mention him at all.

Here’s the thing…. Everything Melanie says in her video is accurate and valid. I agree. I personally thing sharing your child’s face and life online heightens the risk of cyber bullying, identity theft and predators, however, the reason it’s BS when Melanie says is because her actions do not match her statements. If Melanie truly believed all of these things she’d not share her son at all- like at all or completely blur his face out from any media and not share anything about like breastfeeding or hiding to take a tit. And the fact that she defends that blogger family then SacconeJoly’s shows how disingenuous she is Melanie is a hypocrite.
Melanie only made this video to address tattle comments about her showing her kids face in recent stories. No one’s asked her in person or online, she’s just doing her usual thing. She is so so so full of it.

She has harped on about this topic for almost 2 years now. The only people who would ask her online now are those that don't follow her and just drop in with random questions. Same as on this page. You don't make a full video for the benefit of those people. She's only made it because her life is so unbelievably boring she has nothing else to film about.
This. Her YouTube career is dying and she knows it. The only reason she continues is because her writing hasn’t launched her into fame and fortune she thought it would (despite all that manifesting she’s still a numpty, rofl)… She doesn’t know what to film about so #mammyhood it is. It used to be dating, sexuality, diet, body image etc. but now none of that is relevant and all she’s got left is house renovations and her toddler taking a dump in the corner.
If she really cared about her son’s privacy she could have either quit YouTube or made content that didn’t involve him at all or at least very minimally. Other content creators do manage to do this.. yes, they have kids, and perhaps the audience even know their first names but no intimate details of their lives are shared online. Fleurdeforce is one that springs to mind. Yes, she shows her kids (even their names and faces) but is quite discreet and manages not to overshare the way Melmo does.
When her son is older the people in his life will know what Melanie did in the past and be able to find it online. Even if his face isn’t shown there will still be forever on the internet footage/pictures of his mam “dangle feeding” him in cow’s pose in the woods. Poor little dude.
I find it absolutely ridiculous, was on instagram about a month ago and a story posted my melanie popped up. Clicked and it was a picture or her naked baby with an emoji over his private parts and a caption along the lines of “loves being naked”, clearly was meant for a close friends story as it was swiftly deleted. But the whole narrative of keeping the child offline is a load of bullshit, why are you sharing a naked picture of your baby online (albeit innocent and probably to close friends) but still why?
That’s absolutely shocking as even in the video she said people look out for those photos to edit etc. How stupid can you be?? Maybe someone in her life gave her a bollocking and she got ahead of it by doing this vid.
She was just preaching again. Trying to climb up on the high horse but as usual falling flat on her arse. 
I think we might be seeing the start of her 'essay' style videos she been talking about making for a while. No research, no bullet points, no editing. She just sits in front of the camera and waffles nonsensically for half an hour. She is too stupid to have anything worthy to say, she just parrots what people have told her.

I had a moth infestation last year (blame my sister bringing a load of vintage clothes over to store for a while). I am still seeing the odd moth flying around despite hoovering almost every day, spraying and hanging up all the moth killing things I can find
. Good luck to Mel dealing with it on top of a reno and a toddler.
Why has every thing in her house *have* to remind her of some media she's watched? I love my favourite movies and TV shows but you can like something just because you like it, not because it reminds you of a fictional character's house.
Okay so long LONG time lurker, first time poster. I visibly cringed when I saw Mel's story from earlier today. Seems fairly innocuous at first, but it's so obvious that she is trying to cover up the "Deep" comments from a few days ago. I can see right through you.
