Exactly. I’m not sure what visiting a factory proves? Did she speak to people working there? Did she ask them if they’re happy with their pay, their working conditions? As you said, what would have happened if it turned out they were being underpaid and overworked? Would the whole project have been pulled?
I think she has chosen models to make her brand look really inclusive!! But the truth is her gym wear and bikinis only look good on her! And she makes the models look worse! As a size 12/14 girl I would never by that swimwear! She would have been better off with size 8 models then trying to be so ‘woke’

Sorry if I’ve missed something but did Meggan not talk for YEARS about finding a niche in the market and creating a brand that’s really unique? And that she cancelled previous plans for her brand because they had been done already? What is unique about the same leggings and crop tops everyone already has - a few random swimwear pieces thrown in? Genuinely confused and vv disappointed
Did any of you watch Skincare by Hyram. He did the same. Used to talk about sustainability and not feeding into the cycle of consumerism… then launched his own, very average brand. Completely going against his own morals. His was in a bigger scale but it seems a bit of a pattern with influencers.

i just looked and was so surprised that so much is still in stock. I think it’s a mix of 80% of her audience being UK based and it’s not really been sunny here yet so no need for swimwear. I think the other reason is that it’s so overpriced… especially for a brand that has just started and has no reputation yet…Either they massively overstocked or it’s been a flop as nothing is even sold outI think with activewear/swimwear you want a brand that’s got proven quality especially for her asking prices
