In February someone suggested the name Gym to Swim on this thread and she trademarked it in march. Could be a coincidence tho

Anyone know where they live? It’s such a nice house so imagine it would cost quite a bit!
They bought it for 605000 pounds!

In her YouTube video she said the bikini tops work for everyone even those with big boobs. From what I can see they definitely do not. And in my mid 30s I don’t want my a hanging out my swim costume

Seeing as her latest mental breakdown over people's shifting opinion of her started around the same time as people started being vocal about going off her on here, I could imagine she reads here. So you could just as well me right. Especially since she's really uncreative with her brand names.

her manager definitely reads here, i just don’t know why she doesn’t pass any of this on to meggan, most of it is constructive and if she changed those little things i’m sure a lot of us would like meggan a lot more

Don't get me wrong I mostly like Meggan, and I get it's a new company etc so prices will be higher and I probably would have been interested in giving it a try just to see what it was like, but no way on this earth. I paying £42 for some leggings or £52 for a swimsuit!! Well out of my price range!!!! I mean £63 for a bikini? Nahh I don't think so! :/ I'm sure people will pay it and she will more than likely do well but I def won't be buying, I can't justify that in any way shape or form!!!

I've said it before but it just irks me that she knew this was all in the pipeline and still brought out multiple gym wear collections with Bo+Tee as recently as a few months ago, and said they were "the best leggings everrrrr". It's just given me massive money grabbing, greedy, and dishonest vibes from her, especially as so many fans sold out her collections with them and now feel outdated already. So so wasteful

She clearly thinks every one wants their boobs and bums on display, she hasn't realised not everyone is an egocentric narcissist like her

If she hired a designer for her own brand then she obviously designed very little for bo + tee

I was coming here to say this too! whaat ridiculous pricing!

Is she not aware that there's currently a big cost of living crisis where some people are struggling to make ends meet... £52 for a swimsuit is ridiculous

PS. I wish I had a bum like her

she’s gonna justify it by saying it’s ✨sustainable✨ except she’s using the same green washing factory in portugal as TALA
i get the world we are in sustainable fashion is a great thing (when it is actually sustainable) but it just makes no sense for meg to do this? she’s not once mentioned how she tries to be more sustainable, nor does it seem obvious like she does? she’s always buying from b&m, zara etc.
no grace isn’t the best example but she’s the closest i can think of - at least grace is “vegan” and appears to try and live a more sustainable life (i know if you read her thread that might not be the case) but at least it made sense for her to do that based on her “ethics” where as meg had never mentioned anything of the sort
does that make sense?🤣

I agree meggan went on and on about creating something which doesn’t already exist and not bringing something out for the sake of it but that’s exactly what she’s done. She could’ve kept it at swim as TALA don’t currently offer that but the gymwear bit is just too overdone and doesn’t matter how sustainable it is it’s still going to create waste if people are buying more than what they need because of a new brand emerging (and modelled by someone with huge following and an amazing figure, convincing consumers to buy)

I get you! She has never mentioned trying to be more eco-conscious or sustainable. It’s all too little too late when she worked with Bo+Tee previously who are notoriously bad for fast fashion practices. Plus now encouraging her followers to buy more leggings they undoubtedly do not need and pushing overconsumption.

Also ^^^
gymwear has a huge place on the market because yet again Fitness has become a trend. It became a trend in 2015-17 sort of time and died out a bit, and now in 2021/2 it seems to have come back. There will be plenty of people who in 6 months time will drop fitness and probably hundreds of products will be thrown or go into charity shops. Yeah Fitness is always there for a lot of people but the trends do come and go, and even the types of gym clothe. Bum scrunches are popular at the moment but I’m sure they will fizzle out with everything else! So is it sustainable to make something which is a trend?

Shocked by the pricing! Wonder what will set it apart? For the price I’d want it fully sustainable, eco friendly fabrics…. I could go on.
