I’ve been dying for this chat since the Diana crossover happened!

Her vlogs were great but I think she was a bit of a snob about YouTube and didn’t realise that it was her best content. She seems super sensitive to criticism and might have realised that people are looking for a bit more substance from influencers in current circumstances and doesn’t want us to have access to the evidence that she doesn’t do much other than bulk buy prints for gallery walls and make avo toast (and then treat herself to a Gucci bag for doing so) so has deleted the self indulgent vlogs and home account.

I did enjoy watching the coffee making and shopping and would probably do the same if I could but she did make out like she was busier than those that are saving lives.

As cringe as Mr Chip is, I don’t think he’s behind it - he’s probs just deleted his Instagram in an attempt to make her life more private if she’s having a melt down / prove to her that it’s not the most important thing in the world.

I hope shes ok but it would be refreshing if she addressed whatever has been going on in an honest way (there does seem to have been weird fibs told about the houses.) It must be horrible sometimes but she certainly enjoys the perks of the job so could do with learning to take the rough with the very very smooth. I reckon she’ll ignore the drama (that she’s created by deleting everything) and make out she’s been busy doing BLM work offline.

I think the comments on the blog were really constructive for Megan and I thought in general she answered them fairly well. It must've shaken her up a bit to read because the comments are usually so nice, hopefully it has opened her eyes a bit. I find her posting about black content creators like they suddenly exist a bit odd, it strikes me as performative. But hopefully she starts to speak up more, call out brands she's once supported (like Reformation, she's bought a lot from there) for their systematic racism, call out brands if they invite her on trips that don't include more POC etc. Time will tell

It still irks me that after years of showing her personal life and family life, she's just taken it away. I know she doesn't owe us anything, but as someone who has followed her for years, it was part of what made her relatable - going for curries with her parents, to the pub with her cousins, showing her Nana's bday, going for dog walks with George's family. It was nice cosy stuff to watch, like catching up with an old friend. I'm sure that vibe is what attracted a lot of us to follow her in the beginning, and now it feels like she's above it all and too good for it.

I'm pretty close to unfollowing her now because I followed her not just for the fashion but for who she was. The whole package, that "aspirational" feel. I don't feel like that anymore when I see her content, I just feel annoyed

As if there's a thread here for megan haha. I've known her since we were kids, grew up together with both her and her sister but not out of choice. They're not a nice family, megan was a huge bully in school and has only gotten worse since the whole asos then youtube thing and her sister used to be quite nice, timid but nice...now she's just up her own arse. It really frustrates me that they've gone places...i know its so bitter but they're awful people who don't deserve it. I still see megan and george out and she pretends not to know me yet stares at me so bitchy. She's also so controlling over George. Its mad because he was her teen crush growing up and now they're together but she wont let him out of her grasp. He does think hes gods gift but he is a decent person...meg just doesnt like him to be.


Sorry for the negative rant...hopefully they're growing up and becoming better people.

That's surprised me to hear about her family - they seem quite sweet on videos and social media! But we all know these influencers can spin themselves to look good can't they!

I just wish people like her weren’t so obsessed with ticking things off (job, house, kids, husband), it just means you’re on his never ending quest to find happiness, I guess that’s why influencers tend to be impulsive shoppers. I remember when she got this place she kept saying in vlogs that she’d found her ‘forever’ home i mean what does that even mean? It sounded like she was trying to convince herself more than the viewers! She seemed quite anxious at that point too, I guess it all happened so quickly... And is it just me but the whole I’ve wanted to get married since I was a little girl stance always leads to disaster in my opinion... society makes you feel like you need to have all these things ‘done’ by a certain age or you’re a failure x

Someone mentioned seeing white stuff up her nose in her vlogs and low and behold a day or so after, all her vlogs had gone...but i doubt she's gonna come out and tell people that she's damage controlling them all so people wont notice her coke nostrils

Basically saying, if you don't like what you see, unfollow. I understand the sentiment but it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to long-time followers who I'm guessing are the ones that are putting their cash into Saturday. If you're asking your followers to actively click unfollow, rather than answer their questions or concerns, you might find you have none left...

Wow this is really weird to me. It's like the way a stubborn child acts. People have watched for years because they enjoy her and her content. Just because she's changed some things and showed herself in a bad light, it doesn't mean her fans want to unfollow her. They want to see her grow and do better. How fucking salty! Just again shows how these influencers dont give any fuck about the followers who got them where they are. They're basically saying "well ive got the money and the nice house now so you can all unfollow"

I too saw the comment about her weave thats now been changed. It would be nice if they would address some of the issues being discussed in here rather than pretending they have no idea what people are referring to in blog comments. Its impossible for them not to be aware of this thread. Why don't the people who originally drop the comments reply to her responses! Megan has just posted this on her stories:

I just had a stalker scroll back on Faye's Instagram, I don't think the pic was taken in 2015, more like 2013. Seems the fringe and the indie Cindy look arrived in 2014/2015.

The look to catch George. She seems to have modelled herself heavily on alexa chung. Sewwww unique. Sure alexa was great, but don't pretend it was always 'your' unique thing.

hahaah i'm such a little nosey fucker and am LIVING for this. I always wondered if she was a fan of the coke, no judgement though as none of us are angels eh!

i really loved megan actually, when she worked at asos the way she would style clothes was incredible and i owe alot of the way i dress now to her actually, she had a knack of making basics look really great and she always has a nice smiley attitude

however recently there seems to be something lacking, like it's all about really expensive shit and showing off her nice big house, always thought it was a bit of a waste really as she would make a killer stylist or something, just feels like there has to be more to life than obsessing over another new lamp you know?

and yeah the Queen obsession ha, i felt she goes a bit overboard with the rock chic stance, not to be in anyway braggy but i've spent my life being a complete music nut and always feels a bit insincere the way she talks about it. but maybe that's just me

Also, i think my mental health suffered a bit to honest as the way she always portrayed her perfect family, sister and george... got under my skin a bit, just as i actually started to feel bad that i didn't have such a close relationship with my sister and thought i had failed within myself, also her parents seem absolutely perfect haha, would be nice to not have such an influencer spin on it all.

I saw she got some shade over BLM, i do genuinely believe she's a good person with a good heart, she's just got sucked into the fickle world of luxe, £500 bags and expensive shit, doesn't mean anything really. Also, george really aint anything special like he parades, i've been to jimmys and there really is nothing outstanding about that place, had some good nights there though, all about the company you keep i guess!

I think she has been tracking down several people on this thread, those that she can anyway via usernames or things they've posted and has threatened legal action or as she likes to say offline "ruin their lives".

It's been said a million times, it's even in tattles terms, influencers will delete comments like the ones outing them on their socials, but here they can't and it makes them so angry.
The thing is though, you're putting yourself out there so publicly, you're gonna be critisized and outed for past things, you gotta deal with it in a better way than threats. It's so so mean.

I should add, her whole family were in on this, her mum even went with her. Proper playground shit.

Ooooh really enjoyed this thread! I moved to Manchester 4 years ago and searched on YouTube for Manchester bloggers and came across Megan, when she lived in the NQ flat. I loved how she was a little bit different style and decor wise and a bubbly personality. I have unfollowed her during lockdown, I was so sick of seeing her dossing about, getting a tan and reading all day whilst I was working to get people off the streets and in to homes during coronavirus! But more than anything I could not STAND the pouting face and awkward videos showing off her freebies clothes. What else does she do? NOTHING, just a glorified mannequin. Well bored and OVER IT!!

New poster - I only found this thread as I noticed she had been offline a lot and genuinely was concerned if she was okay. I have seen them out in Manchester before and Megan and George were both really nice. I think she is quite shy but I found her really easy to chat to. I don’t necessarily agree that someone owes their following an explanation if they decide to go off grid, like I wouldn’t expect to have to explain my reasoning for being off work to anyone other than my manager? I do agree that at times I have found her very hard to relate to, especially during lockdown as she came across quite negative at first when she is in a very privileged position but I also think it is important to respect that people have their own things going on which we might not know about. Similarly I used to find myself getting annoyed at her always posting new designer gear and it would make me cringe that she would store them with such little care and forget about them in her clearing out vlogs. But then I remind myself that if her passion has always been fashion then of course she is going to venture into more high end purchases if they are within her means and we shouldn’t expect someone to refrain from this just to keep a ‘following’ happy - if I had the money I would absolutely be buying designer handbags. I also do not blame her for shutting down her home or dog accounts if people are outing where she lives online bc that is actually quite scary? I think there are way worse influencers than Megan and I get the impression she is v grateful for what she has in life, but sometimes it comes across differently.

That all seems fair enough.

A lot of us are just here because over time she's made it impossible to feed anything back to her. And she shut down all conversation about racism at a time when we should have been able to learn from eachother. And then whilst being on here loads of other stuff has come out about how nasty they are. And you can discount the odd comment on that but when lots of different people are saying it and giving examples it starts to ring true.

They've proved it by coming on and posting pictures of people to intimidate and bully them in to keeping quiet.

The man should have rung the p0lice himself to get to stop bothering him. If a person arrives uninvited, and won't leave, and you feel threatened you are correct in calling them. Even if the one threatening you is a spindley woman clad entirely as if she were attending an indie fancy dress gathering.

If she had lawyers, or was prepared to pay them they would be working on fleecing her by gently and ever so slowly telling her there was FA they could do, as they billed by the hour. (And no doubt rounded up) Seriously she's not ryan giggs able to pay for a HCI - ffs. Fat lot of good that did him anyway

This is completely true, i understand everything online should be taken with a pinch of salt though.
I'm not sure if he did get the police involved/she did but there's fuck all they can do about this thread. Are they gonna track every single one of us down and force us to delete things? Doubt it.
I have a feeling there is some legal parties involved though due to the original posters who were talking about being doxed, no longer commenting...

Whatever happened its absolutley disgusting that not only she found this an acceptable thing to do, but her mum went along with it. What a role model eh. Shame on the girl who led faye to that persons house too, bet the ellabys paid her haha.
