I watched last night too and thought exactly the same thing! Fair enough feeling a bit self conscious if she’s put on weight, not saying she needs to be dressed up all the time or wearing skimpy clothes. But she looked like she’d rolled out of bed and was going to be sitting around the house all day on a Sunday, not going out and about!

I've just had surgery and wasn't able to shower properly for 10 days the 10th day was yesterday the wound isn't anywhere near healed so been advised another 10 days I feel disgusting even tho been having bird baths at the sink so I don't get how someone can willingly not shower I know when your feeling mentally not there it's hardUrgh jeez really?! I’m a secondary school teacher, I do wonder how much of this is their own (geordie shore casts) doing sometimes and how much is down to mtv grooming sometimes vulnerable, broke youngsters into this lifestyle. Not that it isn’t with its perks of course. But marnie, Charlotte and holly in particular have suffered a lot of cruelty in the media and online.
looking at the originals I’d say only really Vicky, Sophie and possibly James came from stable backgrounds, the rest experienced relative poverty. I think marnie and gaz had it pretty rough financially, and holly and Charlotte somewhere in the middle of working class.
Gaz and Vicky seem the only 2 with any brain cells to knock together. But then they have a narcissistic streak to still be malleable. Without a doubt marnie and probably scott have learning difficulties. The rest are probably bottom set kids.
Can see how the original cast are a producers wet dream and just a disaster waiting to happen.
I do remember a few years ago one of Marty’s ex’s who popped up on exotb, and was one of the people they pretended to be auditioning to go into the house for a season said they purposefully choose people who were ‘problematic’. But that was pretty obvious I think. I do have to disagree that Charlotte and Holly came from unstable backgrounds-I always thought that although money might have been tight they came from supportive family’s, as did Gaz, Abi, Sophie, Chloe, James and Nathan. Agreed that Marnie, Scott and Marty have undiagnosed SEN needs, but they also came from less stable family’s-Marnies mum left her to fend for herself when she was 17-I don’t like her but that is an awful thing to do. Vicky is a strange one, she obviously grew up very middle class with a good relationship with her mother and sister, but her father was an alcoholic which must have really effected the family dynamic and is probably the reason she needs to put a front on all the time. Although I loved the drama, I am very glad they probably could not make GS again due to the lack of care of the young people, who got paid peanuts and had to endure a hell of a lot of abuse while making millions for MTV.

Yeah I agree actually about the supportive families. Although seeing how charlottes mum is with her now I don’t see that as a healthy dynamic any more. Also abbie’s nan does make me question how she started out… I think from memory hollys mum was always good to her, but holly was the classic rebellious teenager and fell off the rails a bit and mum was unable to cope.
Ahhh it cringes me out how much her mum is in her life now, and how it looks like she copies everything she does (filler and all!) but that’s personal opinion I guess!
