Me and my late husband used to watch the old C4 MAFS early series where, as the Panorama doc said, it was much more of a social documentary and IIRC, the marriages were actually legal. I have watched some of the E4 MAFSUK series, some in total and others I've bailed on. I felt increasingly uncomfortable about some of the relationship dynamics: Leigh & Leah, SPH, Scottish Lady & Ryan, that George with the cauliflower ears and finally, Nelly and Steven, so I stopped watching. A number of Tattlers were calling out the bad behaviour on here [and the press brand US evil gossiphounds!?]

ETA: Us Tattlers clocked Tattoo Brad's awful ways too.

I watched S1 of Love Island a couple of years ago on itvX and did'nt like that angry bloke who later ended up in TOWIE, Jon? I started S2 but read that one of the contestants had, well, trigger warning, taken her own life. I didn't watch any more.

Sure this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at their marketing meeting wondering how they are going to flip this narrative now. There is no way they can recover at this stage.

Not sure if I remember it wrong but I think at the time he said they were messing about and they both used to try and get into the bathroom when the other was in there and she didn't dispute that but said that time she didn't want him to and he didn't pick up on it. Not condoning what he did of course, just that I seem to remember that.

wow, way to make the situation all about HER! she may have had a positive experience and felt supported by welfare - that doesn't negate what happened to other people or the bravery they have shown in speaking out, anonymously or not. it's almost like she is trying to intentionally minimise/play down their experiences by talking about how great hers was. also, to say she doesn't know any of the wives who have made these allegations - surely it could be that one of the women WAS a participant in the same. series, they just didn't tell Leigh what had happened. seems weird to assume that just because SHE didn't know about it, that means it. didn't happen during the series she was on.

Similar to Davide's..... although he did say he is not saying the accounts of others are untrue ect.... but he had a really positive experience, and every slide of his statement was backed with a grinning photo of himself. Not very appropriate really!

Well he made the comment to his wife about about ‘terrorising your bumhole’ - anything he says can be taken with a pinch of salt. It was a massive joke in the program (and tbf it was funny) but Amy (I think that was his wife) didn’t seem to impressed and it seemingly came out of nowhere but maybe it never 🤷🏻‍♀️

That wasn't Davide that was Luke. Davide was married to Keye.

I think it was more the fact that it was so random. The gogglebox on this was hilarious.

but now everything on mafs does feel tainted I have to say.

That was Luke from the season before. Davide was from the last series. Was paired with Keye and is BFF with Leigh x

It was made even funnier by that posh one emma not having a clue what he could have meant. You could see her eyes momentarily boggling it was brilliant

Also the way Amy (was that her name?) Said "Bum. Hole" she had abit of an accent. I can still hear it perfectly.
