I just started the latest YouTube video.
She lost me at the "so affordable" knife rack at only £136 to replace the one that just isn't pretty enough 🙄

She seems very lost in her wealth at this point, buying things to chase some sort of mental peace (which admittedly we've all done at some point, the thrill of buying things wears off fast and never fills that void.)
The more money she has and the more things she buys seem to correlate with her unhappiness.

Her most popular videos were ones like doing the weekly shop for £20/ cooking dishes for under £1 ect. Things that were genuinely interesting and felt honest.
She now seems to yearn for validation for buying expensive things, but it doesn't seem to fill that emptiness she has. It's also majorly alienating her OG fan base.

I think the whole tedious upcoming wedding prep is also something else she can spend money on to escape reality ie, the idea of a fairytale wedding solving all your problems...

It’s a jarring transition between the Tetrapak ad talking about recyclable packaging and then a photo of her entirely packaged ingredients to make a pizza. 😂

I think this is how her her anxiety/depression is manifesting itself. She's shopping to fill a hole. A sign she's actually quite unhappy?

At one point I was spending £££ on makeup. I also had 26 different shades of red lipstick. That moment in time came just before a breakdown. It was to make myself feel better and to have something to look forward to when a new collection come out practically every month.

Not bought any new make up since 2017 now I had so much unused in ther packaging untouched.

It's super hard I know. But "influencers " have a following and they pass their insecurities onto their subscribers. Also getting them to spend money and get unnecessary items.
Seen sunglasses in Primark not dissimilar to hers for £3.00 Lol. 🤭

My thoughts exactly. Its like she's currently using her vlogs as a strange form of therapy. Posting 50 mins of her talking and showing off her purchases, then getting validation from the comments (and getting angry at anything mildly constructive ie the lily's).
I don't think going to real therapy was the fix-all she thought it would be, I assume she doesn't go anymore as she no longer brags about how amazing it is and how 'everyone should go!')
