Oh no doubt about it, they are guilty as sin for being negligent. I couldn’t go on not knowing where my child is after so many years, constantly wondering what’s happened to them, if they’re dead or alive, being abused or taken care of, terrified or okay. It is the most basic thing we can do as parents is protect our children, and they failed.

When I very first heard about this at the time the report said she had been asleep in her room with her siblings while the parents were out for a meal. I assumed the siblings must be teenagers to have been left. But then when they said the siblings were younger I could not believe it.
They would've taken better care of some jewellery or a quantity of money.
People keep saying the same thing about how the parents would still petition and want investment in to her case if they were guilty. Many criminals over time have played the sad parent (Shannon Matthews) or sad person known to the victim of crime wanting to help them. If the parents did do it, they know themselves that the likelihood now of them being arrested is very slim because the case is so old and the details of that night were all over the place along with certain evidence. Some people react differently and if they were behind it they already panicked and made out she was abducted, they only have to continue to pretend to care so that the suspicion isn't on them. The video uploaded of Kate being interviewed says it all - she doesn't seem arsed and let everyone else on to look for her daughter. She knows something for sure. Let's not forget that some money used is paying for their mortgage along with other things. The PP who said they know someone who a footballer gave the McCann's money and they spent on their mortgage I personally believe in, as someone said it on a completely different forum awhile back. The parents already neglected their children by leaving them all under the age of 5, if they don't act not bothered then it'll look worse for them. I invite people to look at Mitchell Quy, he elected himself to go on TV to profess his innocence about murdering his wife but was eventually convicted. Just because two parents sit infront of the camera and look sad and go on shows to be interviewed, doesn't mean they're completely innocent. Look at John Benet and many people suspect her brother did something with the parents covering it up. They protected that secret all along and played the concerned family.

I believe they did play tennis the day after. From what I read they spent minimal time with the kids on the holiday, they seemed to always be in the creche. Apart from the day kate put maddie in for about half an hour then took her out again... why? Another thing we will never know. I'd be interested to know how long they did spend our of the hotel to be 'watched' by a suspect who was planning a complex abduction.
Crazy isnt it ! I have long thought something doesnt add up with the parents behaviour. I am sure they have a huge mental and emotional burden to bear. However,when all is said and done it is still sweet Maddie who paid the awful price.

No matter what happened to maddie it is 100% her parents fault they should of been charged with child neglect and endangerment in the beginning, I reckon their career status played a huge role in it. If they didn't require their socialising she would still be with them.

I don’t think we can assume someone is a murderer based on the fact that their ability to show emotion is different to ours. I too wouldn’t rest, I certainly wouldn’t have been playing tennis and I would have probably head butted the police if they were focussing on me when I knew I hadn’t done it and my child was with someone evil. I don’t think they killed her. I do however, maintain that they are absolutely to blame for her abduction/murder/running off alone and falling in a ditch because they were not there looking after her. If you can defend the McCanns for leaving their children then you seriously need to look at what a parents role actually is. Again, it is not the fault of the McCanns that peadophiles or murderers exist. But it is absolutely their fault that one gained access to their little girl. You cannot escape from that fact.
Where was it proven it was Maddie's blood in the apartment? I recall blood being found, but not that it was hers.
I can’t recall now but the Netflix doc discredited anything the dogs found, I think I’m gonna watch it again to see what it was
There’s a Facebook group called the Madeline McCann controversy or similar and on that page someone linked to a blog with loads of info and part of that info was the fact that their families/a relative had informed the police that the parents had said Madeline had behavioural problems and asked them if they would take her on/adopt her just before the holiday but they couldn’t or wouldn’t, I can’t remember now. I forget what the blog/website was though, has anyone else seen this info anywhere?

The dogs are trained to detect blood and cadaver odour trace, they did and where they indicated DNA was found. The expert handler and his dogs have been discredited in many arenas but the fact is they were right, something was there. Multiple times and DNA was found, tiny but there. They were not re analysed after being processed in Birmingham where they were said to be 'inconclusive'. Not free of DNA or spoiled but simply too small. The place reeked of bleach and everything was in complete order, even her bed which looked like it hadnt been slept in. Everything bur one disturbed curtain behind the blue sofa was perfectly in place.
Dogs are trained on pigs blood, people often use this to excuse the findings. But unless they had a bleeding pig behind a sofa and wiped it on Kate's clothes and stored it in their wardrobe, the chances of the dogs being 'wrong' is nigh on impossible.
exactly. You wouldn’t function would you especially if you didn’t know what happened. If you watch interviews of parents who’ve kids have gone missing the common theme is they’re either out looking or they’ve stayed at home. They all said that time essentially stood still and it was all they could think about. not have a tennis match or going for a run.
