Unlikely things do happen though - statistically 90% of children come to harm by family or someone known to the family, so that leaves 10% who are harmed by someone not known to them. Also, if you look at it from a statistics point of view, a child is many many times more likely to be killed by a parent (murder or accident) than abducted by a stranger. So the abduction theory is actually not the most likely occurrence at all.
Absolutely. At the end of the day, whatever happened to her, she was, statistically, extremely unlucky. However, the inconsistencies and lies from her parents and their unwillingness to assist the investigation and sue anyone who goes against what they say happened, their complete dismissal of the Smith sighting (which you’d think they’d agree with as it would actually support their abduction theory), combined with the statistic likelihood of coming to harm because of parents probably ups that quite a bit.Unlikely things do happen though - statistically 90% of children come to harm by family or someone known to the family, so that leaves 10% who are harmed by someone not known to them.
One in five children experience csa, this suggests that sadly pweidos are not difficult to find.
There is a reasonable chance that any man (as pweidos are overwhelmingly male), who is presented with an opportunity that presents a low risk to himself, would take the opportunity to abuse a child.
So the scenario of MM leaving the apartment and bumping into a man who abducts her is statistically not that unlikely.
Tell that to Sarah Paynes family. Also, if you look at it from a statistics point of view, a child is many many times more likely to be killed by a parent (murder or accident) than abducted by a stranger. So the abduction theory is actually not the most likely occurrence at all.
The waking up and wondering off theory isn't one that I've seen explored very much.I always thought the most likely scenario was her waking and wondering off. There was a TV series a few years ago about a little boy going missing and turned out hed been killed in a car accident.
So something happening after, someone snatching her etc etc
But yes, why did Kate immediately say that? They've taken her? Why, if she genuinely thought she had been taken did she immediately leave the twins alone to run back to the tapas bar? Why did the dogs alert? Especially to her clothing? It was bandied about she was a GP and would have been around death but jesus who wears their work clothes they've pronounced someone dead in on holiday?
Why was cuddle cat washed, she said he was dirty with sun oil and had lost her smell but wtf?
I believe it was - at least initially - to cover up that the door was left unlocked. Why did she lie for years about the shutters being opened?
Wow I’m amazed this has got through c5’s lawyers! Knowing how litigious the McCanns are. Did the Portuguese give Gerry a deal if he admitted to killing Maddie as well?I see Channel 5 have a program on Weds 29.05.26 'Under Suspicion: Kate McCann'. It's dramatising Portuguese police interrogating KMc and offering her a deal if she admitted killing MM.
The script is drawn from official statements and recorded statements as audio recordings wasn't used, notes were taken in Portuguese which were then translated into English for KMc to sign. So the program translates these statements back into Portuguese for the actors playing the police.
So who knows how accurate the dialogue is after all that!!
They can’t sue if it was true. It’s why they’ve been very litigious on some things and silent on others. What they don’t do is as telling as what they do do.Wow I’m amazed this has got through c5’s lawyers! Knowing how litigious the McCanns are. it appears it has had a name change, it was advertised previously as- SUSPECT: Kate McCannWow I’m amazed this has got through c5’s lawyers! Knowing how litigious the McCanns are. Did the Portuguese give Gerry a deal if he admitted to killing Maddie as well?
The thought of him being out and about and a constant danger to females (?) of any age bracket, as it seems.'German Interior Minister Magdalena Finke admitted the surveillance operation had failed. She confirmed Brueckner disappeared from police view on April 20 — even though officers had been tailing him constantly since his release from prison.
Got in a vicious fight, authorities described the clash as “mutual bodily harm” and said criminal investigations are continuing.
Enraged opposition politicians demanded answers over how one of Europe’s most notorious criminal suspects could evade officers despite wearing an electronic ankle tag and supposedly being watched 24 hours a day at an enormous cost to the German taxpayer.
He deliberately cycles into narrow paths and side routes where police cars cannot follow him — forcing officers to rely on his electronic tag before scrambling to relocate him.'

Didn't Tony Blair personally wade in on their behalf? Or am I misremembering.80s baby here. My mum would have never left me alone and I know when one mother left her kids she was repeatedly reported to social services and watched by them for at least some time after.
It's beyond crazy to me the McCann's not only never got in trouble legally for leaving the babies/toddler but the moment it happened a ring of steel was formed around them by what felt like the whole world at the time. You were Satan himself if you had anything even slightly non-totally sympathetic to say. It was a really long time, many years, before the tide turned even somewhat. Classism was the main reason but still I'll never understand it.
I think it was Gordon Brown, it used to be said on the forums, at the time, that Gerry knew Gordon's brother!Didn't Tony Blair personally wade in on their behalf? Or am I misremembering.
And they got an audience with the Pope.
Ah! Thank you.I think it was Gordon Brown, it used to be said on the forums, at the time, that Gerry knew Gordon's brother!
I used to be glued to the Three Arguidos forum, back then, reading all the theories![]()
