Have seen a few articles about a Polish woman and her trying to get a dna test.

Why would you not do a dna test? If my child vanished like that then 100% I would want the test just so I could be absolutely certain.
It was also said it court that scientific evidence proved she can't be her.

Although I have no time for Gerry and Kate, this Polish woman is clearly batshit, and it must have been very distressing for the whole family to have this happen. (And the other one, something Spragg?) is just as bad.

I know we have to be careful as it's an ongoing case but the co-accused has a lot to answer for. The younger woman clearly isn't 'right' and it's been openly published that she has done this before, with other families.

On that note there were certain UK based true crime/truth seeking YouTube channels who were very much giving their support to JW by allowing her a regular platform to discuss her quest for DNA and answers from the McCanns with one host even offering for her to stay at his house with his family if she had been granted bail,
It all got very disturbing with her YT interviews before she was arrested, she became flavour of the month with all theses male truther hosts desperate to back her in her belief that she was Maddie.

What they've been through with this unwell person sounds horrific.

Infuencers need to learn what stalking and harassment is, commenting on the stuff you post on insta isn't it.

I've called it like I see it with the McCanns but it sounds like this stalker needs to be in a secure hospital somewhere and the other woman in jail. Batshit and dangerous sseems to sum them up.

I feel very much for Amelie McCann, really brave of her to go public and give evidence and she's so young still at 20. It must be beyond weird to grow up mourning for a long gone sibling you don't remember.

Gerry McCann showing some actual humanity and needing to compose himself has come as a shock, he's not shown a flicker of emotion except anger in all these years. But we're all different so maybe that was his way of dealing with trauma.

This Julia says that she has memories of the abduction, being injected and that the McCanns were involved in it. Why on earth would she want to return to them if that were the case?

She’s a dangerous fantasist who has been given way too much attention

Just out of interest, has this Julia got the defect in her eye that Maddie had?

If you google images of that person, there's NO WAY at all, from her looks, that she could be Madeleine McCann. She looks NOTHING like her. The question after the eye defect is completely irrelevant.

I have never really followed this too closely, I was about 11 years old when she went missing. However, I’ve crossed paths recently with a girl from Portugal whose mum works within the police force over there. She said it’s very well known the twins were sedated, they were completely out of it as everything kicked off around them.
I don’t know if this is debated/well known/news. It just found it shocking that you could do that to your children so you could go for dinner🤢

It’s not well known, just well speculated. The McCanns declined testing until many months later so it’s not known for sure. Some children do sleep like they are in a coma.

It started from Dianne Webster - mother of Fiona Payne. Dianne said “The twins were still asleep in the cot and with all the noise going on I don't know how they slept through it which makes me think there was, they must have been drugged with something.”

She observed Kate “screaming, banging, hitting things” and shouting “we've let her down”.

The twins were then brought to Dianne's apartment to be looked after - and once again, the grandmother said she was surprised that they were still fast asleep: “They were taken from their cots when they were brought up to our apartment and they would have to come out into the cold and I would have...expected some sort of awakening,” she told police.

It was also Dianne who noted Madeleine’s bed had been left neatly turned back.

It's bloody harrowing to imagine actually being caught up in those events suddenly finding yourself witness to her little empty bed and then having the twins left with you while the search and chaos all started to go off.

When you then add in the mix not one but two babies left in your care and neither of them can be roused by movement or sound and everything is just treated so matter of fact where in reality that would be an emergency in itself two unresponsive babies as well as a missing child but it's all spoken about so casually .

It's a bit of a jump calling a sleeping toddler unresponsive - did anyone try to wake them up?
I'm not suggesting the twins should have been woken up btw - but this is the meaning of unresponsive and implies there is a reason why they are unresponsive - otherwise how else can anyone say they were unresponsive?

I don't know of course, I'm replying to what was stated by OP.

Obviously I mean they didn't respond to being carried, being cold, being passed around they didn't wake to anything that apparently was happening and a lot was happening but they didn't rouse at all.
Is a better phrase babies who couldn't be woken by anything (which to me is still a concern when a child's just been abducted)

One would think with Kate's specialism being anaesthetics that they'd be extremely keen to find out if their 2 year olds had been drugged by a stranger, if not insistent on medical care/screening just on the chance.

I'm not having a go at you, so apologies if my post came across that way.

It's just this jump from 'the twins didn't wake up' to 'they were unresponsive' - I imagine the next posts will be 'the children were drugged' with a discussion around what medications, always anecdotally, people have heard of others using to make their children sleep, as this is what usually happens on the thread.
This is a common theme but there's absolutely no evidence that the children were drugged.
