I actually don’t think I’ve tried their beans
What I have tried though is their tomato sauce (ketchup) - best best best around and only 65p, you won’t find better
I like Branston beansI love a Heinz alternative....Waitrose essentials also good bean value
will try the M&S next time I’m in.The fruity ones are indeed lovely! Did anyone try the cheese and marmite hot cross buns? I really liked them toasted with butter and XO marmite spread on top of each half. I’ve got one left in the freezer, as well as a full pack each of the blueberry and chilli hot cross buns. I haven’t tried them yet
I love M&S basic things like their chilled soups they’re so tasty! Had the tomato & basil one today with a good M&S bakery sourdough bread it was so satisfying! Had one before it was like a spicy Mexican kind of flavoury soup with loads of veg and rice I can’t remember the name of it but it was well nice!
I can't remember which varieties of hot cross bun I loved from M&S: I tried a few of the novelty flavours and enjoyed them but the luxury version of a standard HCB was the stand-out for me. Great plump fruit, perfect texture etc.I like Branston beans

I remember buying a pack of apple and cinnamon ones once though. All excited I was; got them home and opened the pack and they smelt like actual vomit
Double-wrapped them in cling film and chucked them in the bin. I still don't know whether it was a bad batch or whether the smell triggered some long-repressed memory of doing Apple Sourz shots back in the day but I haven't bought a non-traditional hot cross bun since

thought it was really nice, there seems to be caramel running through it which is a nice touch. Lovely fresh cream and good chocolate as to be expected from M&S.
don’t think I’m qualified enough in eclairs to say whether it’s the ‘best ever’ eclair though, but I’d buy these again
If they did a best ever cream slice, I'd be all over it. When I lived in the US the 1st thing I did on visits back to the UK was go to the Bakery and buy one but the decent bakeries have all shut now so just cheap imitations.
I picked up the Best Ever Burgers when I went in for flatties (the BBQ flatties are life changing).
SO GREASY. My partner who doesn't even really like meat absolutely loved the burger but I genuinely had to go brush my teeth after it because I just tasted like dirty meat oil
I had to pour away a boatload of oil that came off them in the pan. I wouldn't get them again personally but if you're after a big dirty burger then I'd recommend them

Prawn sandwich discussion
My go-to sandwich from there is the prawn Mayo. It’s perfect in so many ways, just the right amount of seasoning in the mayo, lovely soft oatmeal bread. Stick a few of their ready salted crisps inside it and it’s perfection. Surprisingly difficult to recreate at home. (Normally home made sandwiches are always better IMHO)
I got excited when I saw the best ever prawn sandwich, but, as much as I LOVE prawn cocktail, somehow the marie rose sauce doesn’t work as well in between bread.
I remember they used to sell a king prawn and avocado sandwich. This was around 1990 as I remember doing my GCSEs at the time. I think it was about £2.95 which was top of the range expensive for the time, but it was lovely.

I tried one of their Collection fancy sandwiches. Smoked salmon, avo and egg Mayo. Usually priced £4.50 I got yellow sticker for £2.50. Was a terrible sandwich! Really strong lemon and dill Mayo overpowered any other flavour, would never pay full price and don’t think I’d even buy reduced again!Prawn sandwich discussion

The vegan Reuben is a God tier sandwich though (and I am not vegan!)
Has anyone tried the Jason’s sourdough range? It makes delicious toast but I don’t think it’s a sandwich bread. The craft beer is delicious when properly toasted and slathered with butter. I always pick it up when it’s on a yellow sticker and put it in the freezer

Love it, it is quite similar to rye bread, I don't think it is for everyone.
Popped in on the way to school and picked up the frozen bakery boule garlic bread, some tomato and mascarpone pasta sauce, the best ever eclairs and some walnut whips. Not all to be consumed on the same day 
I found it to depend on how you cook them, when I done them in the pan they were really greasy but when my husband barbecued them the following week (he done the shopping or I wouldn’t of give them another chance lol) they tasted so much nicer!
