Omg I came across this by accident today and since this morning I’ve been refreshing this page, you people are hilarious.
I’m an avid YouTube follower since I was 17 (31 now) and Lydia has always been one of those influencers that I refused to follow, she comes up in my suggestions and I usually look at her clothes and bags and hate my life but I’ve always just thought this person gives me bad vibes and I never clicked the follow button.
I even put one of her videos on our telly a few months ago (maybe years it was around the time she went to pick up her new car) and I made my husband watch it and he literally wanted to gouge his eyes out, he even had a go at me and said that we’re not like that and I shouldn’t be following those parasites. I told him off for being judgemental about someone he doesn’t know but deep down I knew he was right.
I hope this doesn’t make me an evil person but I honestly cannot relate to her.
We work our asses off 10 hours a day, we can afford mid range stuff but sporting a Dior/Chanel bag with every outfit is just something that makes my blood boil, and I always feel like it’s unfair that these people have these luxuries without putting in half the work we put in on a daily basis but then I always thought I was just bitter and jealous...
Reading this today made me think that maybe I’m not, definitely needed it especially that I’m going through a burnout after working through the pandemic, depression and anxiety levels were super high.

Look at Lydia’s face it’s so distorted and her cheeks look so freakin bizarre!! I can’t believe she lies about having work done to her face when it’s clearly different from a few months ago and her teeth!! She used to have slim lips and now when she talks she reminds me of Elle Darby!!

Anyway, Carrie and Lydl are detestable enough on their own, but together they reach supersonic levels. Carrie is that friend that dresses quirky to look different and special, yet she only looks like a hobo. And she thinks she’s oh so funny

I’ve just watched the video myself. Looks pretty clear to me that Carrie is not on her own in her house. You can see and hear a man in the background laughing and drinking while they decorate the tree.

I’m fully raging about this. Everyone else out there is sticking to the rules. She’s merrily filming her self breaking them. Even if this video was filmed after the lockdown was lifted, you’re still not allowed to socialise inside someone’s house under tier two.

Lydia said on a previous video they’ve formed a social bubble with Carrie so she can stay over etc. If her boyfriend is round / staying there they’ve broken the rules!!!!!

Im not the covid police, but I’m so angry if she arrogantly thinks she’s above the rules everyone else is following and has filmed it. I’m sure we’d all like to go over to our friend’s house and drink champagne and help decorate their tree. But we CAN’T because we’re not allowed.

Im fuming at her arrogance.

I can’t wait for Lydbismal’s type of influencer bubble to burst. What on earth will she do when she has to settle for the same upholstery for longer than 6 months..

Just watched the latest, she's so passive aggressive with Carrie, especially while decorating the tree. And that porch is so ridiculously small and underwhelming - my first thought is that it resembles an outhouse one visits at campgrounds (without the hole).

Making Lemon and Ginger Tonic..."When I die, I think that's what's going on my headstone...because that's all I'm known for..." Look at her down-turned facial expression at the moment she says this. She finds that admission distasteful, yet it's also a candid moment of true self-awareness for her. She's being truthful there.

Same I’ll even take one for the team and go to a meet-up at intimissimi or some other event. My sister saw her at the boots on Bond Street when she launched her bag with Elizabeth Arden but she had no idea who she was at the time.

My M is dyslexic as am I and many members of our family, but she works very hard even when she feels physically sick with letters moving about the page to get the spelling correct but the odd one get through as it does with many people. Especial when your phone changes things kn you just before you press send ( what a bugger that is) .
However to bugger up every day, if they are dyslexic then it would be better if the came out and said so and actually used their platform to support people with the numerous conditions.
But I think they are just bloody Lazy!

She's so stressed out and moaning @ the renovations OUTSIDE i.e. the front door and veg garden?!?

Then she's going to lose it when her kitchen and master bathroom start to get ripped up INSIDE.

Clearly, she is clueless and does not now what to expect with interior renovations.

This is not pillows, paint and moving furniture which is all she's been doing and redoing with the house since they purchased it.

Ripping up and entire bathroom and kitchen is a completely different ball game.
