I think you might be right there. I remember her mother posting how lonely she was at Christmas. I get the sense Elsie might be uncomfortably ashamed of her mother. Her mother seems quite anxious to please.

And I’m sure that has only gotten and worse and worse as she has got snobbier and snobbier.

The way she treats her mother tells you EVERYTHING you need to know….

Btw I bet she has never given her Mom a dime of financial support. She’s stingy with others in all sorts of ways. If my mom worked in a grocery store I would understand she is earning a low income and on her feet all day. How interesting! What about chickens that lay the light blue eggs? ( thinking about Martha Stewart’s eggs ).

Those blue eggs usually come from cream/blue legbar chickens. They are either completely white or a lovely blue depending on the chickens earlobe colour. Some friends have them.
Then you have breeds like black morans who lay nearly black/super dark brown eggs - all depends on ear lobes!

And chickens should have a constant supply of pellets/corn and water, so that clip of her throwing in food was just staged and pathetic.
I know I’ve commented a lot about those hens (being ambassador of hen welfare on here) but I can’t stress enough how unsuitable that pen is and how easily a fox will kill them!
She’s used flimsy chicken wire - absolute no no
She’s got no roof - absolute no no
She hasn’t dug the wire in round the perimeter. So far a fox can jump over, easily eat through the wire or simply dig under.

The actual coop is fine but those chucks will be eaten in no time.

As soon as I get a good view of them I’ll tell if they’re proper rescues or not. AlexxxColl filmed her neighbours hens and straight away I could tell they were ex-battery’s and then she confirm in another vid they were. Nothing will get past us Lydia - not your secret project, not your ‘rescue chickens’ not your ‘eggs’, not your ‘perfect teeth’ - nothing!!! And that’s why she hates us! Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t blue eggs typically laid by chickens who have white feathers. Hers are orange and black aren’t they. Like a previous post pointed out, the eggs she’s taking pictures of and claiming to be hers are the eggs Irene gave her. There were 2 brown, 2 beige and 2 blue ones from Irene as a gift. I was watching Ali's recent 'unrealistic week in my life' vlog, and what a difference between Ali and Lydia when they drink alcohol. Especially when they are invited away to stay at hotels, eat at restaurants and attend events hosted by brands/sponsors. It stood out to me on this trip Ali went on, only because I was comparing Lydia's behaviour when she has been away sponsored by brands or invited to hotels and accomodation, and there is alcohol provided, it's notably different.

Where Ali was there was an abundance of food and wine/champagne flowing, served at each and every meal provided. Ali definitely indulged and did partake in wine drinking, and I know it was all free, but he didn't over indulge or over do it to the point of making a fool of himself, he was measured and civilized thruout, knew the difference between enough and too much (from what was filmed anyway). But going by what was filmed and showing all the socialising and gatherings he attended, he seemed respectful and his behaviour wasn't rowdy, loud or obnoxious displaying behaviour of drunkeness or acting foolish.

Never saw him carrying a bottle of alcohol in hand and glasses filled with wine, traipsing all over the hotel grounds getting sloshed acting embarrassingly immature, or cackling loud and overbearing at any of the events, unlike Lydia has been known to. The difference between Ali and Lydia is night and day.

Eta- I'm not giving Ali a pass, because he is super annoying in many other ways and other things, it is just my observation in regards to alcohol drinking and behaviour.

I know ali is cringe and his outfits very questionable...... but I do think he has alot of patience with animals and a genuine love for them. Seeing him sitting with the chickens compared to Elsie chucking feed at them and running is night and day.
She won't go anywhere near them will she? She really hates the already, she seems scared of them. It will all be down to Ali to care for them. The one redeeming thing about Ali is his love for animals.

I can’t with the ‘Kate Middleton’ learnt way of speaking Lydia has now. Kate was educated to speak that way, you can tell when someone older learns to change their diction, it just sounds contrived. I’m all happy for people improving themselves, this is overkill!
