New here, first post. Have been reading for a while.

While I understand that brands spend money with influencers instead of on print or television media like they used to, I am always so flabbergasted how unappealing many of the influencers make the products seem. They wear the piece once, they are using new skin care a week later, they complain about their hair, or their shoes wear out after a couple of months... It's so unbelievable and disingenuous.

There are one or two that seem to go back to the same brands and who give me confidence that it is a good product.

Lydia comes across as a materialistic billboard whose actions don't line up with her words.

Yep, and this is why I feel that Lydia is in this "career" for the wrong reasons. It's an easy way to get freebies and money. She shows no passion at all.

1) The end of the Bartlett/Gawdat episode is about the pandemic I believe (I am not going to listen myself, but I think I am correct from looking at the chapters on the video). Is she implying anyone who is distracted by or worried by a global pandemic is focused on negativity? This woman writes so badly I'm not even sure.

I guess Teefers must have her new greenhouse "insitu" because Lids is pretending that Ali got her the greenhouse lighting for a surprise, haha he may have organised it for her but that was no surprise, she's been nagging him to get it done, anything to make her feel better than Teefers. I did enjoy seeing her in natural light without her phone light to make her skin look smooth, nice to see her actual skin and wtf are those filler lumps beside the corner of her mouth did it migrate. I don't understand these young girls getting so much filler, do they realise it moves and that it doesn't actually dissolve like doctors tell them. So yesterday on her "ask me anything" the question was "how to look timeless/classic on a budget and her answer was "stay away from hardware on clothing opt for covered buttons, horn or pearl".
Today showing this tit piece from Karen Millen she describes the shirt as having beautiful champagne gold buttons which gives it a real "lux" feel. OMG Millen what is it to be? And toe looks like it regularly escapes from her absolutely trashed slandals. The woman needs to “invest” in some comfortable and inexpensive shoes for around the house, garden and beach and keep her Hermes and other designer shoes for actual meetings, events, days out and photo shoots. She wears the trashed shoes and says they are “elegant”. Um. Honestly an inexpensive but newer looking pair of shoes from target would look better and on trend.

Since the launch she's not mentioned that collection once, nor has she worn any of it, except the white shirt dress once!
