I wonder whether he was expecting his feature in Hello as the ‘rising star’ of YT for ‘22 would translate to significantly increased numbers of subs (on YT).
As far as I can tell it’s hardly made any difference at all numbers wise.
I don’t do Instagram, so I’ve no idea whether he’s increased followers significantly there although maybe he now gets more paid AD work off the back of it

I really don’t get why he wants to buy in the south east long term? Surely he will want to be closer to his family at some point? Like whilst it probably is a flex he was hoping for to be like oh we bought in bath, but I can’t see either of them needed to do it.
They also just need to accept they can live together but owning a house together might seem like a good idea but neither of them has a partner, that’d change a lot of things

If he's really serious about buying property in the SE my advice would be to get a "proper " job and use YouTube to supplement his income. No brainer really.

What a bizarre video … nothing has changed , why don’t they buy somewhere in commuting distance to London ? That is what my husband and I did when we moved out of London .. there’s definitely more to this story

Completely agree! I think he is so upset because Zara probably wants to stay put and he is making excuses about house prices etc... to cover the fact. She is doing well in her career and earning good money and he really needs her to make HIS house dream come true. Zara is young and does not need this huge commitment yet. I mean she is in Madrid this weekend and probably having a great weekend without him!

It was weird the way he mentioned that, as if he thought it was a career breakthrough? Influencer culture has definitely started to wane, I wouldn’t want to be relying on that for my income over the next few years. TV gigs like the ones Mr. Carrington has scored are few and far between.

They really would be better off buying their own separate properties in a cheaper area - especially Luke as he can work from home and commute when he has jobs elsewhere.

If I were Zara and I had 1/2 a house deposit saved , I was 24 and loved my life and was just starting out in a career and was happy to keep renting for a bit , I’d just keep saving , make that deposit bigger so I could either do it alone or wait until I meet someone who could contribute , and keep renting personally … I would not jump into a house purchase with someone who I am not romantically involved with , there’s no rush they’re only young ! It will just complicate things when the eventually do meet people

Luke & Zara have such a strange relationship. I think that maybe as uni mates they got on well & lived in shared uni accommodation. I guess they shared their hopes & plans for the future & then they finished their courses....Perhaps Zara has found herself in this weird asexual online relationship with Luke planning their future & has freaked out. You'd have thought if they were united in this "change of plans" & saw their future together ,Zara would be sitting next to Luke and be super supportive. I'm not his greatest fan, but I do think she's stringing him along. Come on Luke, you deserve better. Move back to the NE. You can be in London in a matter of a few hours for PR etc, own your own home, promote Newcastle (who doesn't love Newcastle) and find yourself a bloody sexy bloke

I'm sorry but when he mentioned his Rising Star "accolade" from a gossip mag and feeling the pressure to live up to it, you'd think he'd been given a Brit Award the way he talks about it this boy has delusions of grandeur. He sees Mr C with his house and renovations and probably thinks he deserves the same, even though he's about 15 years younger.

Such a strange, contradictory video. Bemoaning not being able to buy a house in London at the age of 24, but also telling himself he needs to be more humble. He really needs to stop being so dramatic and go out and enjoy himself while he's still young. There'll be plenty of time later on to be worrying about mortgages and what not

Zara is in property management I think? She's probably got people at her new job who have taken her aside for some real strong advice how to get on the property ladder and that she can't move to random places with huge commutes with this odd You Tube lad arrangement.
