Zara is in property management I think? She's probably got people at her new job who have taken her aside for some real strong advice how to get on the property ladder and that she can't move to random places with huge commutes with this odd You Tube lad arrangement.
Her parents might have also talked her out of it , my daughter is 2 weeks old but if in 25 years time she comes to me and says “hi mum , I’m going to buy a house with this random , slightly strange friend who lives his vacuous life online ! Yay for lifelong commitments with a friend !” I’d say errr hang on a minute 😂

He said she had a new job? So maybe she left one company and joined another?

My child (23) just bought a house and I know her employer and her partners employer were really helpful and interested with advice and getting them financially as fit and ready to get a mortgage. Family as well. It's a tough process these days.

I feel so sorry for him that he has to go through this in front of a camera. Probably all his viewers above a certain age always knew that they were not going to manage to buy a house this year. It was very obvious. The fact that they saved £30k or so is amazing but doesn’t mean much to a mortgage lender. I do hope he realises how young he is and humbles himself instead of trying to act a lot older. Zara seems to like London and make the most of it when he is stuck in a flat and only goes out to run errands or to go to PR events and free meals. He needs to find a good friend or mentor that can advise him correctly.

This is why I don’t get why he wants to stay in the south east? If he’s got 15k saved up he could put 5% down by himself in the north east where his family is? Where his dog would have a great life?

I don't...he has shown off and now had to admit that at age 24 you can't have it all handed to you on a plate all influencers expect that!

If he wasn't a show off telling the world about when he was going to buy a house in a minimal time instead of being realistic and saying 5 years at least. My sister was 25 last month and has just moved into her own house because she was realistic about the area and what they could afford and spent 4 years saving Mortgage is quite low at £600 a month.l because they are not in London. He doesn't need to be in London and Zara could work anywhere in property.

Completely agree he has his head up his a. Pompous twit. He needs to get a proper job and build up a career. How long does he think that doing YouTube/Instagram will last . Yes he is young now but what is he going to do in his 30s/40s as he is already running out of relevant content and covering it up by saying he has been down and has needed a break etc.... I think he has realised that its not going to work out in the long term. Zara what can you say but grow up and get your own life and not have house husband holding your hand and doing everything for you in the home.

I actually think Zara might have grown tired of Luke, their dynamic in the few reccent videos I’ve watched seems like she’s just done with him filming everything

She probably has. But he seems controlling and she looks dependant on him. Don't forget they have been together since Uni and she has never been on her own so it would be a huge step for her to go it alone but she needs to grow a pair if she does want to try and branch out on her own which I think she should do as it will be the making of her

I think she sees him as a friend from uni that she shares a flat with and potentially go into an investment property with. He sees her as his ‘other half’ in everything; home, work, travels, investments etc. Even getting a dog together seemed odd, unless they have an understanding that the dog belongs to one of them.

I was already getting sick of seeing her 'bulldog chewing a wasp' face of misery but when the dog came on the scene, it was just too much weird dog mummy and daddy stuff. 🤢

Also he said they had a lot of sleepless nights about the property decision. It’s legit not that deep as the kids would say, like you’re 24 you bellend

They are a couple in every sense , all they are missing is sex !!

they live together , cook together , eat together r, holiday together , visit each other’s families together , have a dog together , buy joint pieces of furniture , spend all their time together , cuddle on the sofa together … they are basically a couple aside from the intimate ! It is a very strange set up …

…and when they go on holiday together/ have a ‘gifted’ night in a London hotel/ stay in an air b & b they share the same bed.
It’s all a little odd…

The new gifted couch looks so flimsy. The dining room chairs also need to go. I hate that entire room actually.

Very strange video. Why so serious?? I’m in my thirties nowhere near getting a house. He’s acting like a twit. Realise how lucky you are and what you have.

We own a house now (but we are 36|), but when I was renting up until two years ago were paying £1100 rent for a four bedroomed detached house with a separate office, with the biggest garden on the estate and a double garage and driveway for upto five cars on a private road,(we didnt have five cars I just mean the driveway was that big) I bet they pay at least that to rent that two bedroomed cramped flat with a balcony. where we have moved to, alot of people have moved from London as there is a direct train to London that isn't too expensive. Our mortgage is alot less than that rent was because we were realistic.

I'm actually surprised he doesn't want a bigger house to show off, he can always move back to London later if he really wants to. or he can spend weekends in London once a month or something because he would be able to afford to have weekends away if he had a reasonable and realistic priced property.

My point being that they could rent a much smaller house outside of London and save alot more money towards a deposit and either live a similar lifestyle to now, or even a better one with lots of country walks etc. alot of new content.
