I’m sure that Luke and Mr C claim back a lot of the expenses from their days out. They can claim travel/petrol, food etc.Zara isn't very bright if she thought that the cheaply made footstool would hold a person's weight standing on it.
I think Luke and Mr C have a genuine friendship but they get advantages from it with events, making content together, a lunch out and a candle haul is easy content for both plus acting as photographer for each other.
More eating out and loads of drinks. They make a mockery of acting like they are trying to save. I don't get it. He must make enough to live on and Zara has a decent job but still it's a very hard market out there.
Yes but it is taken off their tax bill at the end of the financial year but only if HMRC believe it is a genuine business expenseI’m sure that Luke and Mr C claim back a lot of the expenses from their days out. They can claim travel/petrol, food etc.
If he films about tasting food, or that he goes to a particular restaurant and it’s specifically for a vlog then he can classify the costs as work related. He will absolutely be getting that money back.Yes but it is taken off their tax bill at the end of the financial year but only if HMRC believe it is a genuine business expense
WelcomeHellonew here, I discovered Luke's channel a few months ago and just found this thread.
I can't get over how much he buys (especially the tat from charity shops), he definitely has a touch of compulsive buying disorder. Everytime he crosses the door he comes back with bags upon bags. Then he complains about the prices of properties going up and that their savings wouldn't get them much in London? And now he's just bought a new sofa to replace a perfectly usable one in good condition, the same thing he did with the dining table, chairs, desk etc. But then again I guess if he were to stop buying his videos would only last about 2 minutes lol
Also, does nobody else find how he talks for his age really strange? Everything is "fabulous" or "joyous" or "delightful", I don't know anyone in their 20s who talks like that. It just makes him seem disingenuous. His pal Mr Carrington (although equally as bad for buying crap), is much more natural in front of the camera and you can tell he's just being himself.
Why am I not surprised ?5 months later, another boring makeover with another free sofaI'm fairly sure he didn't mention it was a freebie on YouTube but he did on Instagram

Oh look, its a cheap nasty copy of the Made.com Scott sofa. All this constant redecoration with tat is *so* environmentally friendly.5 months later, another boring makeover with another free sofaI'm fairly sure he didn't mention it was a freebie on YouTube but he did on Instagram

Worth a shot I suppose.I wonder if they could offer to buy the current property?
He really needs to think outside the box a bit. Had he looked at another area - as I previously suggested - nearer his hometown he could have been on the property market ages ago - then at least one of them would be in a better position. He is so dramatic. I mean a new chapter I thought Zara had left!. Well at least we won't have to hear anymore about him buying a bloody house. Also he has been quiet on YouTube as he has got nothing new to show. I wonder if Zara having started her New Chapter with her job has said that she doesn't want to move
He told on himself by saying 'we might have more Christmases in this flat and you'll have to see the same tree'. Moving for #content rather than buying a home. Zara's employers have clearly told her no WFH/hybrid working. He is so dramatic. I mean a new chapter I thought Zara had left!.
