Influencers always use the 'I gave my old one to friends' excuse when theyre on the beg for new stuff. How about... ask for it back? 
There's been a next to me bed floating around my group of friends for whoever needs it for years now! I've been handing bags of clothes back and forth between pals for two years since my little one arrived. As soon as my little one is out of them we pass them on, sometimes back to the person who gave them in the first place.
I can understand if they're still using them, like if they've recently had a baby themselves, but most of it I'm sure you could just ask for it back or to borrow it for 6 months. It's so transparent that they're begging!

She is such a beg. Said it previously but my baby was born just before Roman and my second will be born just after her second and funnily enough I still have their things stored in the attic to use for our second. This total beg just wants everything new but doesn’t want to fork out for it like the rest of us have to do. Really bugs me
