Davis is a fool. He's clearly fed by the Twitter mob and doesn't even bother to check what he's saying. Not one MP spoke in support of his nonsense.

Carl said he and Claire came to that conclusion after watching a documentary about Letby’s case.

“It was obvious from that documentary that the condition and state of that unit wasn’t really a factor in the conviction,” he said.

So they didn’t actually follow the trial then? A ten month trial reduced to a single - biased - 1hr documentary and they concluded the jury weren’t told stuff?

Not only that but I fear there is a chance their child was harmed by Lucy only for her to play saviour. Though the police ruled this out so maybe I’m being paranoid. I think Lucy had a strong compulsion to appear unflappable and in control and where her skill and intellect let her down she engineered situations where she could appear that way.

There is a transcript of David Davis's speech. It reads like Truther's bingo, sewage dripping from ceiling tick, shift chart not including expected deaths when Letby not on duty tick. I was surprised he actually stated, Dr Dimitrova theory, that baby O was killed by the doctor as a fact! He also accused the police of deliberately lying saying Letby was arrested in her pyjama!

He's such a prat! The issue was the texting about sensitive patient information and passing on details to a suspended colleague. The NHS bosses were just following the rules. Whether Letby was guilty was irrelevant.

David Davis having another debate in the commons this week - 26th March "Conduct of Cheshire Police in the case of Lucy Letby"

it's the last thing before the Easter break so interesting to see how many attend. A feel sorry for the junior minister who is compelled to be there to respond to his BS.

Wow why on earth are they even entertaining this?! (I don’t know how these debates get decided). Surely the police conduct in her investigation is only up for debate if a MoJ was ever proven (which it won’t.)

I saw an interview with the guy who wrote the new book and he was on about them as well. I do feel for them but this "what about Lucy's parents?" is pure manipulative bollox. Maybe Lucy should've spared a thought for her parents, it's all on her.

Also that guy was even getting all emotional towards the end of the interview, it was wild! Makes you wonder why he's let himself get so emotionally invested in her innocence.
