Think it was baby N's mum who complained against Dr Noname, she was very critical of him at the Thirlwall inquiry
Yes just came to post this!! I’m so glad she had the strength to do this.

I’m still reading but I think the investigation into him is still ongoing.

Sarah Knapton has dropped pretending to be a journalist and taken to writing opinion pieces. And this was before the news about the files going to the CPS
Wow this is actually shocking! Who the fuck does she think she is? She’s meant to be a “science” editor? Now she’s doing creative writing pieces.

There’s one thing all these people have in common - giant, inflated egos who think they know better than anyone else.

oh yes I’m sure the police are happy wasting their time purely to be vindictive 🙄

and the only ones going on about narratives is her bloody PR machine.

and the ridiculous argument ‘they could have been invited voluntarily but instead they arrested them which was performative and unnecessary’. Oh like that time they arrested Lucy in prison just to question her? Oh wait, they didn’t.

If Lucy was innocent she would have insisted on being redeployed to another hospital. Why on earth would she want to go back to a unit where there was rumours she was a murderer! If she thought she was being scape goated for others medical errors she definitely wouldn't want to go back!

Her parents are stupid not to realise her going back would be a very bad idea.
Exactly, it's insane how much she wants to go back to the unit. SL-"She loves her job so much. When we were on holiday, she talked about how she loves it so much." Yeah I'll bet she did  babies collapsing and dying everywhere and she's constantly saying "why is it always my babies?" but she loves her job? That's a red flag in itself to me. Can't even switch off on bloody holiday. You'd think for her mental health her parents would want her somewhere else. Maybe they did but we know how adamant Lucy was to stay on the unit/get back on it. She doesn't care what the doctors thought of her going back because she's so defiant. She had an absolute obsession with that unit, actually her obsession was just with room 1. None of it is normal or healthy. Saying that it's insane to want to go back and think she wasn't going to get watched very closely, unless she's just so delusional she thought she'd get right back into it. People like her don't stop. I remember her saying something about wanting a guarantee if it happened again it wouldn't get pinned on her-chilling.

I just don’t understand how we’ve leapt from having (basically) no one on the defense able to refute the prosecution’s claims the first time around, and now there are aaaaaall these ‘internationally renowned experts’ who have come out the woodwork post-conviction. Seems incredibly suspicious…

Not watched the programme, but Dr Dimotrova apparently isn't happy with how they portrayed her. Glad someone is actually looking at the quality of Shoo Lee's report and not just looking at the expert title.
I love this for her 😂

This from the BBC article. All the shouting Team Letby do and they refuse to share their supposed actual evidence. Bunch of cowboys, the lot of them.

One of the experts behind the report – a mechanical engineer who carries out biomedical research – clarified that his analysis says the blood test results were "not uncommon". However, Letby's defence declined to show the BBC the published studies that support this claim.

The no evidence of her stealing insulin makes me laugh too. During the trial, they admitted they shared the keys to the locked medication - someone had them and they’d just pass them around. She had access to take medication without anyone really knowing she was doing that…
The thing that annoys me about a lot of these people is the fact they bring up things like it’s a “ahhh got ya” moment and it’s already been talked about/presented at the first trial. Which then for me means they didn’t follow the first trial, which then I jump to “so you haven’t even bothered the read through what was actually presented in court”. It’s embarrassing. How can you form such a strong opinion without considering all the Information?

Dr Noname did the same when he texted Letby in Ibiza to say they had identical triplets. He also discussed baby O's postmortem results with her.

ITV are broadcasting a "documentary" by truther Anouk Curry. When is this going end 🙄

The families have repeatedly stated via their legal teams that while they respect the right of someone to challenge their convictions, this sort of media circus is causing them serious distress....but the innocence fraudsters carry on with it all

I bet the documentary won't be exploring why Letby didn't call any experts to give evidence and has failed to waive legal privilege

Admittedly I don't know much about the criminal justice system, but would a serving convicted prisoner really expect to be told in advance that a file of evidence about possible new charges was being submitted to the CPS? Letby had been interviewed on other matters so she knew there was an investigation. I don't understand this barrister's objection.

She was so isolated and socially cut off huh? This is not a good look even if she was actually innocent!! The poor parents will be understandably furious waking up to these headlines.

IMG_0080.jpeg

At least these idiots keep giving the prosecution more and more evidence. Does Dawn think sharing these somehow help her? Oh look, Letby having a dance at a wedding despite being on bail for baby murders. She must be innocent!

Yes and I must say, although I think there is a high probability that she is totally guilty, I didn’t find Dewi very convincing at all. Not that he’s lying but maybe he isn’t as qualified as an expert as originally thought. BUT, I think MM has his own agenda, ie, fame. Am undecided on the Private Eye guy. The main reasons I think she is guilty are: the notes, the hoarded handover sheets, the Facebook searches, the weirdness around the parents and the hunch of the staff/consultants. No concrete evidence with any of this but it just seems too much of a coincidence that so many babies died when she was on duty. Also, can’t remember all the details but there was loads of dodgy stuff about falsifying documents. I still think guilty.
The thing with Dewi is the defence went after him at the trial and then again at the appeal. She was still found guilty by the jury and the conviction upheld. There's no point going after him now - that horse has bolted.

You are right about the "dodgy stuff". The Court of Appeal described it: "She created, it was alleged, false entries on certain documents to hide her activities, to provide her with an alibi or lay the ground for invented explanations".

For me it just proves that a lot of these people are chances, riding on a band wagon to get money/fame/attention etc because if you genuinely thought there was a miscarriage of justice and the case had been sent up to be looked at via the proper channels, you’d be silent.
The noise from a certain side speaks volumes. Again, it’s the parents I really feel for. The deaths of their children are being used for others personal gain, it’s genuinely disgraceful and I wish people would stop giving them a platform

Out of interest
Does anyone on here think shes innocent
People who think she is innocent don’t like this thread. They tend to prefer to pop in to call us names and disappear rather than actually engage with any of the evidence. They mostly congregate on Twitter now. And the daily Mail comments section. Make of that what you will!

Another piece by Peter Hitchins. Guy is after an exclusive interview with her I reckon.
Hitchens is a strange man.

Why would Cheshire Police want to email Hitchens about their plans to arrest anyone?

And why wouldn't it be important to fully investigate all potential crimes against babies? Is it because its harder to make out she's innocent if the public don't hear the whole story?

Would Karen Rees or Eirian Powell be considered senior leadership? I didn’t think so which is why I’m assuming Tony, Ian and Alison. I would consider Rees and Powell more middle management?
If Rees is one of them and she goes to prison. Maybe she will get put in the same nick as Letby. They can have a tea party in her cell 🤔

Only Letby and her trial lawyers know the answer to this. Letby has not waived legal professional privilege so the trial counsel aren't allowed to tell anyone why - not even her new lawyer who says he doesn't know. In her book on the case Judith Moritz said Letby's experts largely agreed with the prosecutions so would have been no help.

Her new lawyer has gathered together some new reports from different experts and given them to the CCRC but their value to her defence is unknown and has not been tested in court. They might not even be admissible as evidence.
This is the other bit I think is very important when considering her guilt.

She didn’t call any experts - I appreciate we don’t know if that was her own choice or heavily advised by her trial legal team. I also appreciate that it’s not on the defence, it’s on the prosecution to prove she did it which is often what truthers think “the evidence was weak so the defence didn’t need to call any experts”. I’m sorry, if you were innocent and were facing multiple charges of murder, you would absolutely be calling experts to testify on your behalf.

Not waving privilege - again, if you were innocent and you’d been failed by the justice system, why would you not be open and transparent with your new legal team? This is not what an innocent person would do as it makes zero sense.
what does make sense though would be if she was transparent and the majority of these theories were explored in the first trial then she wouldn’t be able to submit them as “new evidence” for an appeal.

Im firmly in the camp that she’s enjoying the attention. Just like she did when she committed the murders…this is her next fix and the media/her team are giving her exactly what she craves.
