The CCRC say they aim to "complete a minimum of 85% of cases within 12 months of receiving the application". What makes you think they'll shut up if she's refused by the CCRC or the Court of Appeal?

It was insulin related but if I’ve understood correctly there is actually new research they are trying to use that has come out since his conviction.

Letby’s is just different expert arguments on the same evidence. She has far more to overcome to even get a retrial. I think if they manage it then it may still be on all convictions because the argument will be the guilty verdicts on the insulin ones influenced verdicts in the others. Judges directions allowed the jurors to link the cases.

I think they only had low c peptide/ high insulin blood results for one of the cases. The others just had a sudden drop in blood glucose.

The Colin Norris appeal has started today. This will be an interesting one to follow given its ‘new’ insulin evidence.

This seems to have ended. With no reporting since the first day I'm guessing that a retrial has been ordered.

But Letby worked more overtime than any other nurse in the history of nurses because she was one of the best nurses and they needed her. That's why she was present at 15 of 17 deaths! Definitely not sus!

I'm not saying this, but i am curious to how many extra shifts she did compared to others?

The NHS are subtly coercive in making people overwork, if only people outside the org saw what cash incentives people were offered for extra shifts where that role was understaffed, people would be astounded. There are some roles that are paying £400+ a shift out of desperation.
