Yes, she was asked why she wrote those notes on multiple occasions both during police interviews and under cross examination in court. She said it was something she had always done. Even if was true that she instructed by a counsellor to write down her darkest thoughts it doesn't make it any less incriminating, "I killed them on purpose, I'm evil I did this". There is no reason a innocent person would write this.

They don't really need answering. 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7 do not form any part of Letby's application to the CCRC - so it's pointless arguing about them because even Letby herself doesn't. It's a bit like the statistics which get Letby supporters excited - Letby is not challenging the convictions on these grounds.
2 and 5 were dealt with at the trial - Letby admitted the babies were poisoned which she would not have done if her experts had found otherwise. Letby attempted to appeal the insulin convictions in April 2024 but failed. But there's nothing to stop her trying again with the CCRC so that's what she's doing.
Letby's attempts to challenge the insulin convictions are doomed to fail again because her experts on this matter are not physicians so will not be accepted as medical evidence. The prosecution at the trial had a consultant endocrinologist Prof Hindmarsh - Letby can't find an endocrinologist to back her. Panorama had a consultant endocrinologist on their programme who said Letby's experts are basically wrong.
But to be honest it's futile arguing with these people - they've gone down the rabbit hole there is no going back.

She was geeky, always handed her homework in on time, didn't mess about in class and polished her shoes so she couldn't possibly have committed these crimes!! This piece is unbelievably inaccurate and she's been paid for writing this. She reports that Letby is godmother to two children, does she think this makes her less likely to have carried out these crimes. Rose West actually murdered her own child!! The crem de la crem and doing everything by the book comments frustrate me because she wasn't doing everything by the book. One example was when it was shown in court via phone records that she had sent a large amount of text messages to an off duty colleague at a time when she was feeding a baby. It was demonstrated that she had pushed the feed through as opposed to feeding the baby correctly as it could have only been done this way whilst sending all these text messages. It also showed she had lied when she said that she never used her phone in the nursery or a clinical area. During the trial Letby's practice was shown to be poor, and in many instances deliberately poor, but people like Dorries choose not to mention any of these things but try to paint her as an excellent, dedicated nurse. This newspaper report, like many others is inaccurate and it is apparent Dorries has not read any of the evidence and is making money and getting public attention by jumping on the innocence bandwagon and supporting a murderer without any thought to the people whose lives have been devastated by Letby.A vomit inducing article by Nadine Dorries in the mail. What Nadz fails to mention is that when she wasnt attacking babies, she was constantly on her phone when she was supposed to be working, feeding babies one handed so she could message with the other. Hoarding hundreds of confidential medical records and handover notes. Abandoning her designated baby so she could harass grieving parents. Ignored instructions from shift leaders to stay out of nursery 1 and look after her own baby and have a hissy fit when she couldn't get her own way. Show zero remorse when she "accidentally" administered over 10 times the safe dosage of morphine. Complain about looking after babies that werent sick because it's "boring". They can all shout and speak crap all they want but the reality is Letby is having another miserable Christmas in jail, watching her back and counting down the years till she passes in there.
Hoepfully we will hear the appeals have failed again soon and they will all move on to another case.
Also 2026 maybe hear if she’s going to be charged again, and also if any of the management team will be joining her!

Just as an aside, I was discussing the possible new charges with my mother and she was saying she’s wondering what became of Letby’s parents (or as I like to call them, the gruesome twosome). Also, with all of the pointless articles on what her hair colour is now and who tolerates her company in prison, where are the interviews with people who actually knew her? Was she so bland and non descript nobody outside of the hospital interacted with her in any meaningful way? So many questions about her life and how she presented the wild…

Yes apparently Dr J has committed perjury because he stated Letby called him cotside to a collapse in an email. No accounting for the fact there was 3 separate collapses for baby K, and from the retrial a nurse stated that Letby did in fact call everyone over. No accounting for the fact, that Letbys defence were in possession of this email pre appeal and choose not persue it as an avenue for appeal. No accounting for the fact the email could have contained typos or simply been a mistake. Nope, it's perjury! And part of the grand conspiracy against super nurse Letby!

Who is actually in the court of appeal with ‘new’ insulin evidence this week. You would think they would be all over it. Another convicted nurse murderer with a possible MoJ (not my view but you would think it would be theirs). But they have no interest in him.

This is the interview with the couple in the documentary who believe that Letby tried to kill their child. Their story reads scarily like many of the ones we heard during the trial: a baby who collapsed despite being stable and no apparent reason for the collapse found. The baby was transferred to another hospital and the problems ceased. Sadly, he now suffers from unexplained seizures and has been diagnosed with global development delay but there was insufficient evidence to include the case in the trial:
