The Mail confuses me. Does the Mail on Sunday have a different editor to the Daily Mail because it seems as though all the pro Letby articles appear on a Sunday and during the week they are back to killer nurse etc.

Not really - court processes exist for a reason. Potentially it could actually make things worse for all involved because how do you find a jury who is unaware of the case if there are more charges?

No just hell bent on discrediting Dr Jayaram. They keep harping on about the bombshell email. Nadine Dorries saying he's eager for fame and becoming a TV personality. Well she's a former nurse, politician, minister and now eager for whatever TV she can get So look whose talking. Peter Hitchens cites two esteemed colleagues who are journalists at the paper, who say she didn't get a fair trial so if they say this then it must be true!! It really must be a slow Sunday for news as they keep regurgitating the same old crap day after day.
What's so stupid about the "she didn't get a fair trial" claims is that she has only herself to blame - for this and for not making the Jayaram email a ground of appeal. If these decisions were on the advice of her lawyers then she should be claiming poor counsel - but of course she'd need to waive privilege which she doesn't want to do because of the avalanche of tit that would coming piling down on her.
It's a win win for the DM. The apparent doubt gives them license to write articles. Hitchens has done more on Letby than anything else. He must be the go to man for innocence fraud.
False argument. Very few question Letby's rights to use the processes available to her. What is objectionable are the continual PR stunts which will make no material difference to the outcome.

The whole newspaper story is all about nothing anyway. It was just a quick email that Dr Jayaram wrote which may have been missing a word, it wasn't a sworn statement. Ben Myers saw it and dismissed it so it has no relevance. The drama is in its earlier stages and the production company may be waiting until Operation Hummingbird concludes and they have the full story.
