What were the actual "gun to head" threats then? I don't doubt there were threats made but what severity of threat would make a senior executive not act on consultants speaking up about Letby's behaviour in relation to significantly increased mortality rates? Wish these highly paid public servants would be willing to take some responsibility - that might go some way to beginning the process of regaining public trust. But instead it's all about wriggling off the hook.

Now the inquiry is discussing a one-to-one meeting Chambers had with HR director Sue Hodkinson on 12 May - the same day as the second meeting with Cheshire Police.
De la Poer says Hodkinson says she was surprised and disappointed by what Chambers was saying in that meeting.
There was a discussion - that was never implemented - about how to manage some of the doctors out of the trust, including talk of a referral to the General Medical Council (GMC). Hodkinson has previously said she challenged Chambers about this in the meeting.
Chambers says: "I don’t remember the meeting, I do remember the context around the meeting."
"What was clear at the outcome of that meeting was that the police were themselves not sure whether this met the threshold of a criminal investigation," he adds.
"I was very clear before any decision could be made that there wouldn’t be an investigation that they should meet with the doctors again, which they did within a few days. And that led to the commencement of Operation Hummingbird."

I wonder if TC and IH, have got behind the Truthers campaign. There has been a big push on social media and MSM to make out this is the next massive miscarriage of justice someone behind that.
The Telegraph headline reads as though the threat was an actual gun to the head.

Wouldnt surprise me at all and especially not if there's a masonic link, that one of them is behind this. Now that she's been found guilty, the ONLY thing that will get them off the hook will be if she's eventually found not guilty. Bet they were devastated when the verdicts came in because they knew they were in deep tit. I hope Chambers hasn't been given an easy ride, it doesn't sound as if he's been pushed very hard

They are certainly parroting Truther talking points but it’s a case of chicken or egg I think. Because I’m pretty sure the Truthers were fed information about all this from somebody on the inside.
