He's an RSS member I think. They're obsessed with the belief that they can use statistics to prove Letby is innocent and equally furious that noone cares.

I remember now someone said this last time I brought him up and I totally forgot!

Just got back from the Thirlwall (May have gone for some drinks afterwards!)

Someone was asking if they had to be there for 10 and the doors stay closed but people came in later & some people left, the ushers help you out

Lady Thirlwall is very punctual though, tells you exactly to the min when to be back from breaks!

it was me! It was when I was tempted to apply for Ian Harvey’s day. But then it closed anyway.

What time did Dr B finish in the end? How did he come across?

This email from Ian Harvey to Dr B is atrocious! It actually comes across to me like a threat! ‘Going to mediation will protect you from a referral to GMC’. duck off Ian.

And it reminded me on the podcast they said Dr J attended a mediation meeting but Dr B refused to go! Good on him!

A reddit comment reminded me (expect it was said here before also) that Letby’s uncle (dad’s half brother) also works for the NHS but in Hereford - wonder if he knew Mr Harvey et al ..

So after Hawdon’s review, Dr Nim Subhedar sent an email to Ian Harvey expressing his concern that she recommended a “detailed forensic review” of 4 and that they felt also 3 more cases should have that level of investigation too because the collapse leading to death was still unexplained. He says this is the single most important and relevant recommendation.
Interesting that it’s a non indictment baby on there, it’s clear that they were very suspicious about other deaths and incidents we are yet to hear about.

There’s also a mini Trial podcast episode from yesterday. Breary is still treating Child G and has some lovely words for the family so sad.

It's interesting that Harvey makes a point in his letter about separating the concerns raised and the reviews and the grievance procedure.
Too many people under him seem to have forgotten about the "concerns" (possible murder by a member of staff!!!!) and are bending over backwards about the grievance procedure and LL's feelings.
She should never have been allowed to start a grievance procedure while she was under suspicion. Whoever suggested she did that played a blinder because it seems to have succeeded in deflecting the focus from the real issue.
Surely a grievance procedure is less damaging to the hospital than a member of staff found guilty of murder?

I think the freemasons are a bit more open now than they used to be. Many of the lodges have FB pages where they post their endeavours ( all look like mid age piss heads imo)

I was surprised to see a former schoolmate was a member recently through FB and went down a rabbit-hole of looking at their lodges FB, which was also linked to loads of other lodges.

Herefordshire freemasonry FB is there to see for example....

This is interesting, it's taken from Dr Brearey's police statement, he says preterm babies rarely have hypoglycaemia because their glucose needs are met by the drip.

I really don’t know how he did it sat from 10am till after six with two small breaks & a shortened lunch break constantly talking, he did so well.

It was soooo warm in the heating room - if anyone’s going then take layers not a big fluffy jumper like I wore!)

Interesting point SB makes early on about how he was part of a group that were peer reviewing processes and policies for child deaths on neonatal units and found that very few hospitals had a policy for child death on neonatal because there were so few of them and it made him reflect again on how “the situation” they were in at CoCH went on for so long.
