She described explaining to her son - who was born a year after Child D died - what had happened to his sister.

But he became scared, fearing the person "who had hurt" Child D would escape prison and hurt his cousins.

Heartbreaking 💔

Lordy, its been a whirl wind since the verdicts hasnt it! Followed the trial every single bladdy day relgiously only to find out randomly via tiktok that the verdicts were in by seeing the arrest video of LL 🤣. Anyway, im horrified. As a nurse myself i kept trying to find plausible explainations behind the evidence, and even though i was certain of her guilt in recent weeks, it was horrible to read in black and white. It made me feel gross that i'd tried to find innocent reasons behing her abbhorant behaviour so i absolutely dread to think how her friends/family/colleagues/mentors who signed her off/any partners/ feel. I dont understand some of the verdicts really, surely if shes guilty for some she's guilty for most! Dippy Dawn well i cant work her out, honestly if she sees lucy in the same way i see my best friend i can understand how difficult it must be to accept for someone you would never imagine doing these things. As for doctor NN well he must feel disgusting 🤢. The whole thing baffles me, she looks the most basic boring witch imaginable yet seems to have 2 personalities. I think the notes show her personalities coming through. Shes depraved and should be forced to listen to her sentencing. The big wigs are responsible for many of these poor babies deaths/harm and should be held accountable. The poor famillies and babies ❤.

As much as I hate that Letby isn't in the dock to listen to this she almost doesn't deserve to!

I fully understand that the parents have every right to want to face her today while delivering the impact statements but she is not deserving of hearing about these beautiful babies.

I think she would get off on it to be honest and make it all about her, glad her parents are not there either.

I tell you who should be made to listen though, every single hospital executive that sat back and let this carry on.

She murdered them but they have blood on their hands too.

I’m so glad after 8 years these amazing parents can get all their words out and let everyone know exactly how hard all these years have been, god bless them all. I hope today brings them a bit of closure knowing that monster will live a long, horrible life never seeing the light of day again and they can move forward with their lives, these family’s are the most brave people ever ❤

Why isn’t she being physically dragged up to the court room to face what she’s done? She shouldn’t be given any rights whatsoever, she deserves nothing.

The mother of Child E and Child F has come forward to read a statement.
She said "our dreams had come true" when the twin boys were born.
"Never were I to imagine that [Child E] were to die."
"Losing [Child E] was the most difficult thing I had ever experienced".
When Child F collapsed, she thought 'no please, not again', and "it was a living nightmare".
On July 3, 2018, the mother said her world was shattered as the news came through of Letby's arrest.
"We felt cheated, deceived and utterly heartbroken once more".
She said she had felt guilty, having trusted Letby and followed instructions "diligently".
"We were robbed of precious time with our baby boy - having to grieve in the presence of Letby", who had dressed him.
"Our babies were extraordinary miracles - I was walking on a cloud of pure happiness. Letby deliberately caused signficiant harm."
"I still struggle to understand why it happened to us."
Letby's behaviour was "a sadistic act".
Child F has been left with learning difficulties, which the mother believes was as a result of Letby's attempted murder.
"It breaks my heart to know that things could have been so different for him."
She says during Letby's time under police investigation, until she was charged in November 2020, the family of Child E and Child F were in limbo.
She said the moment of Child E's crying was "etched in her mind", and found it insulting when she was challenged on that account when giving evidence in court.
"Lucy abused the power she held. She claimed we had a good relationship...it should have been strictly professional. I was vulnerable, doing my best to get through each day. The lies she has told fill me with anger."
"Nothing can changed what has happened to us. We are living with Letby's crimes."
"Lucy is right, she attacked them on purpose because she was not good enough."
She says her babies were 'pawns' in Letby's "twisted game".
"The trial felt like a platform for Lucy to relive her crimes.
"She has repeatedly disrespected my boys' memory."
The 'best thing' Letby could have done was take the stand, when "her mask slipped", the mother adds.
Letby's refusal to attend sentencing is the "final act of wickedness from a coward."

Baby E's mum mentioning that being asked in court if the cry was as loud as she thought upset her.

BM still not forgiven for ANOTHER reason.

I hope all those useless NHS managers are listening to these impact statements, the whole lot of them need rounding up and charging with manslaughter. As for Letby no words, these impact statements are properly knocking me sideways, its just heartbreaking

The mother says she won't leave the surviving twin boy, who has complex needs, alone with any medical professional, even though "logically I know that every nurse is not like Lucy."

I 100% get why this is for her. I would be exactly the same, but my god a huge blow to 99.9% to the nursing profession who do their best day in, day out with only patient best interests at heart.

Letby's damage to the profession cannot be understated.

Baby E/F's mother saying she doesn't leave her surviving son alone with any medical professional even though she knows logically that "every nurse is not like Lucy"... no nurse is like Lucy.

Nurses aren't evil personified. Letby is. Letby never was a nurse. It was all just one big con.

This is what she needs no poor me. 23 hours in a cell secluded 1 hour in the cage for exercise watched so she can't kill herself.
No stimulation you don't need to use violence to severely punishm. Just take everything away human contact and meaningful activities worse than any violence can do
for the rest of her life.
The Lucy's of the world love attention and manipulating take it all away from them and watch them crumble.
