The board of the hospital now running for cover. They were “misled”.

In truth a HR manager, for any organisation, is probably the most superfluous job. Their entire career path is based on a simple untruth, ie that all employees of an organisation are of equal importance. Like a cafe sales assistant has the same status as a neo-natal consultant! They are taught to see bullying and discrimination everywhere, and will not make any remotely risky decision. They think an “apology” has some sort of superpower. You say you‘re very very sorry and they will become all one big happy team again, because there will be absolutely no residual bitterness right?
In my experience they are often company people who use meaningless phrases like “Compant mindiet”, “diverse outcomes”, and my favourite ”company aims” (like it was ever more than simply “make as much money as possible”). A person who has spent their entire lives and careers within the four walls of an office will flounder when the real world comes knocking. Hence senior doctors had to publicly apologise to a serial killer of babies. Why? Because she was “lovely and kind” apparently. Fuck that. Didn’t they say a similar thing about Ted Bundy once? “Be kind” it’s one of the most dangerous hashtags ever. Didn’t it become a thing when Caroline Flack killed herself? And maybe she wouldn’t have killed herself had she not been facing charges for allegedly smashing her partners head in with a lamp. Really not very kind.
Tiny little helpless babies dead. Families traumatised and ripped apart. A serial killer protected and even promoted. And you can bet that these irrelevant wankers will be busy planning the Christmas party, safe in the knowledge that “lessons will be learned”.

NHS trust board was told there was 'no criminal activity pointing to any one individual', he says.
