Reminder there is actually a McCann thread before this gets super derailed by the inevitable arguing....

Thank you.
But no thanks, I’ll be avoiding that as much as LL did her shredder 😬

Just to go back to the actual topic of this thread for a minute (😜😂) who was it that said they heard something when they were in court (before the jury went out to deliberate) and they said they couldn’t share it here until after the verdicts? I’m so desperate to know what it is 🤣 can we all have some guesses please and the poster give us a “hot/warm/cold” response without having to actually tell us 🤣

ETA - WHEN THE duck ARE THE VERDICTS GOING TO BE DELIVERED WILL THIS EVER END 😩😩😩😩

(got that out my system now thanks😅)

Yeh I think it was and she hasn't been back to thread for ages, personally I think as others have said she is wanting to keep a low profile until the verdict is in so that nothing is revealed that shouldn't be.

I have visions of her sitting in the court room corridor for 7 hours a day waiting on the verdict!.

I don’t think nosey has been to court much recently because of the school hols? The one benefit of these looooong deliberations is that she might actually be available to go every day again when the kids are back at school. Because obviously they’ll still be talking about the dodgy plumbing then 🙄

All I can say about the McCanns is that they were guilty of child neglect and have paid for it in a way no one should have to. I wouldn’t make excuses for them but the idea they did it and spirited her body away is like something Letby would argue.

I’m laughing now but if it does go on for that long I think I’ll cry. Can’t believe those crazy FB people were right that this would take months. #awks

My sons just asked me why his little brothers farts always smell the exact same as eachothers. I can’t wait for the schools to reopen

Honestly, I think it could be weeks yet.
Surely Goss saying they could go majority was a bit premature if it’s going to be that long. They must be close? Unless they were getting in a pickle with some charges and he had to say they could go majority in the hopes of them moving on from certain charges?

For me also the Chris Watts case … I hope he speaks and tells the full truth one day. He did not act alone in those murders, so much left not investigated 😡
Her friend was so on the ball to realise something was wrong so soon, he wasn't planning on that, there's definitely something fishy about his mistress.

Speaking of going stir crazy, I forgot to share this gem yesterday. We have had a blocked sink and bath drain for ages. I finally had enough yesterday and took to them both with the plunger. Once the bath drain unblocked the smell was particularly nasty (no tit though, TG). I came down the stairs, plunger in hand, delighted with myself. I announced to Mr K that he could just call me Lorenzo. Who’s Lorenzo, says he. Well. I was stopped in my tracks. I didn’t elaborate. 😂

When the verdicts are finally in and sentencing completed (assuming at least some of them come back as guilty), we are going to feel lost without this thread. It's been 10 months and the majority have been here since day 1.

Its one of the first threads I catch up on when I log in

Andrew Gosdens case is just so bizarre. His poor family must be tortured, there’s just nothing to it, no info, no leads. Baffling
Completely agree. It seems very likely he was going to meet someone who then did him harm, but the fact there's no trace of him is very sinister.

It's creepy that some people do get away with murder. I know they sometimes get caught for other things (or they get found out eventually) but they should get caught from the get go and it's scary that they don't always.

Voted Tuesday (29th August specifically) because I am on holiday from work until that day, no doubt it'll be verdict day on my first day back at work 🙃🙃

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is invested in Andrew Gosden and Claudia Lawrence.

Claudia has always baffled me and it's got to be something to do with the pub or a man that she was seeing.

Andrew lived a few streets away from me and his Mum Glenys was my son's speech and language therapist so it's always been close to my heart. The police missed an opportunity on his case by being slow with cctv. The way he walked out of kings Cross, he knew exactly where he was going, it wasn't an opportunistic spur of the moment day out to London.
