Do we think the medical bits they are sharing now are still agreed facts, or just presenting the evidence relating to baby A and B?

It wasn't really that clear when they first said about agreed facts so this could still be info that both defence and prosecution agree on as factual and therefore unchangeable or untwistable?

I don’t think you should be naming prisoners on here. That’s really bad. Assuming you work in a prison.

No it says ‘how will things ever be like they used to’ under neath that says ‘they can’t’ (replying to her self) Then it moves on to ‘I did this’ ‘i killed them on purpose’

Depends how you read that bit. I read it as 'how can things ever be the same' and 'they did this'

But I read this as LL being on the day shift this day?

I was thinking the same possibly? As it said a nurse named Lucy explained the monitoring machines to the parents. So I assumed this was before the night team took over as then it goes onto saying about the night team. It says about Lucy taking the baby to the parents before the baby being transferred, but this could be in the morning?

With the note do you think it’s says “they went I killed them on purpose cos I’m not good enough” so meaning someone said it to her??

I don't think they are. It said they would be covering baby A and B today and I think these are the first witness statements.

They do sometimes restate the agreed facts at the end before the jury go out to deliberate on verdict so we may get them all then. There is normally a proper list of things ( I'm thinking in Star's trial, it was cctv timings, dates of certain incidents, a picture that showed a sepcific bruise at a specific time which neither defence or prosecution contested) that sort of thing.

Interesting that temp is one of the causes and the baby mentioned today there was no record of temp on their med notes

Yea it said it wasn’t recorded at other hours either. So before LL would have taken over.

So do you think there’s so many occasions that babies died or nearly died when Letby was around but this insulin poisoning incident was a different murderous nurse? Letby asked the police whether they had the bags.. interesting for someone with not a lot to say!

I just don’t know what to think. this just threw some doubt on her guilt for me

The mug shots are only published if they are convicted. (Unless they had a mug shot already published from a previous crime then some articles may use that.)

I think Friday there wasn’t much to report with it being about the hospital lay out and equipment etc. It’s such a long trial the main news outlets won’t report on it every day. I remember with the trials for little Star and Arthur there wasn’t a huge amount of reporting during the trial either, but once their murderers were convicted the media blew up and we saw so many articles and lots of evidence was released too like cctv and police bodycam footage.

Ohh thanks I didn’t realise that I think I thought with ones like Wayne couzens they released a mugshot immediately was wondering why they didn’t here. But must have been after he was convicted.

There's also a possibility she used a long acting insulin in the bag. Something like Toujeo has a half life of 18 hours. You'd still get hypos long after the contaminated bag came down this way.

Note the 3 possible explanations.

What are the three possible explanations?
Would they keep long acting insulin on a NICU?

Re the time frames:

OldHereford times article, did state they were looking at other deaths and collapses. Guess not enough to arrest about those.

So 17 deaths and Lucy was present for all of them?! (According to some posts here I can’t find anything that says Lucy was present at all 17 deaths for the period) as far as I can tell it’s only been released about the babies on the charges. The highest number of deaths she was charged for (I think) was 10 murders? But that dropped to 7? That still seems high for 7 or 10 deaths how many are usually expected I thought it was around 3 but can’t remember where I read 3.

Well that doesn’t make sense because there were ‘only’ 13 deaths for the whole of 2015 and 2016 combined

Lots of different reports this one says 15 deaths. As if we weren’t confused enough already!

Everyone starts at 7.30pm and assembles in a room. The nurse in charge from day shift ‘hands over’ the information to the next shift, in this case the night shift. The other nursing staff are still looking after the patients.
When the official handover finishes at around 8pm the nurse designated to a patient will get a verbal handover from the nurse who has been looking after the patient on that shift. Things still to be done or running late etc.
Sorry if I’m stating the obvious!

So 16 minutes after LL would’ve joined the ward and had her verbal handover to take over the baby deteriorates.

How was it missed by the police tho only found by family

I thought JB had put it back himself for some reason. Saying that, I’m not sure.
He still has his supporters even now although I don’t think there’s many.
