It’s weird isn’t it. There was never any weird “I just can’t believe it/I don’t want it to be true/it must a conspiracy” comments about that disgusting vile pos that murdered that poor baby & got sentenced recently who had such severe injuries it was like that poor baby had been in a car accident (ya know, like one of Letby’s victims). I’d never ever want to believe a person would be capable of doing that to a baby, never mind someone that was meant to be looking after that baby. Nor would I want to believe the mother of said child could stand by and let it happen. But no one cries “conspiracy” here LL had 0 emotional connection to these babies and you think that means she couldn’t have done it when someone that’s actually birthed a child can murder said child??

Good job you’re not on the jury for picking one thing out of thousands of pieces of information and deciding someone's guilt from that.

I don’t read it as a confession. It’s certainly not the bombshell the prosecution led us to believe.

yes and everyone believes all the medical experts in those cases too when they tell them the injuries were non-accidental.

I appreciate killings in hospital are more complex than injuries caused at home, but there is literally NO OTHER EXPLANATION for the deaths/collapses of these babies. Any poor care has been accepted as sub-optimal but RULED OUT by experts as causing these events.

Some people just want to bend over backwards to speculate and find any other reason to believe she didn’t do it.

I can bet that the police thought it a bombshell finding a note saying “I killed them on purpose” “I’m evil” in possession of the person that had been there at every sudden and unexpected death 🫠 especially after Dewi found out about the poisoner on the ward. Which Letby appppppppparently finds out about in her police interview and doesn’t exactly seem shocked or worried about 🫣 she seems to accept very quickly there was a poisoner “it wasn’t me that did it”.

I do think it’s a bit mean the tone of your reply, let’s not forget this is a 19 year old, who’s experience of the world and life is still very limited, a lot of 19 year olds are very naive, not saying muffinman is, or that all younger people are, just that I can understand a younger persons reasoning for thinking NG more than someone older with more life experience.

I also think it’s not fair to pile on immediately anyone who thinks NG, as clearly there still lots of people who do think that judging by them interesting Reddit mock jury results, I want to hear their reasoning without them being scared of openly saying they think NG.

I was an absolute dribbling moron at 19, rit for brains, and I’m sure @themuffinman is far more intelligent than I was. But I’m pretty sure I understood what ‘on purpose’ meant.

I took a nap and someone came out from a rock saying they think she’s not guilty? Oh my. Can’t believe the police have got it wrong and all these years of prep looking at the wrong person. Can’t believe they were looking at the person who was there all the time, who falsified documents, stole 257 documents, online stalked many of the victims’ parents multiple times, wrote a sympathy card addressed to all three triplets, said every parent, nurse and doctor were the liars, lied in court when asked the simple questions, kept a stolen document in a pretty keepsake box and even confessed she killed them on purpose and that she was evil.

The thing is, if you have a good reason to believe in her innocence why is it only when you can no longer bite your tongue that you join in? Why lurk and not join in when the debates were going on? The trial is nearly over, most people have made up their mind from the evidence we’ve been privy to.

Her only defence was literally a plumber, who said there were sewage leaks on days not connected to any charge in this case. That’s it. That’s all they could come up with. I cannot fathom how anyone who’s listened to the evidence, and her own tit show of a testimony, can have any doubt about her guilt. Wtf are the jury doing?

If that’s the case and any charges are hung or NG, I hope they can live with themselves knowing they’ve denied the families justice. It would be shameful. They have one job
