That’s not the bleeping scrawling of a woman in anguish and fear, it’s a realisation that the nice Lucy facade has well and truly slipped and the walls are closing in. I’m not hearing that the stupid bleep has mental health issues or anything other than sheer narcissism.

This is what I love about this group and also why I think it's hasn't descended into an absolute tit show like so many other threads. Fools were not suffered here. No "be kind" bull worked when others cried that we were being "mean" by not listening to their "I just have a feeling" and gobbledygook. Babies were murdered and I think that gave everyone here the strength to rightly tell the idiots, contrarians and Lucy letby fangirls to kindly duck off if they can't articulate an argument for their stance.

We have to suffer idiots all to frequently in our real lives, I cannot and will not suffer the insult to these babies memories and to their devastated and victimised families here.

Been awhile since the redhaze descended on me here but my baby would have been one of the ones that these people would have so readily written off as "they were going to die anyway" and I just spent the day amazing at her.

So I have a great life hack.

If you fold the wet clothes as soon as they come out of the washing machine and leave them for an hour or so then hang them out, you will never need to iron another piece of clothing in your life again. Evar.*

Oh I will try this...I hate ironing. I treated myself to a steam generator in the hope that it would be quicker and I'd enjoy it more. Nope, still hate it.

As for trainers...get the elbow grease spread from BanM, spray them with that (all over amd be generous), leave them for an hour or so then wash as normal...they come up lovely

Watching it be cut out was quite fascinating tbh ^.^ I know I’m odd but that bit was fine, been a bit painful since though as it went quite deep, so couple of different layers of stitches that need taking out in a couple of weeks x

I did think it would go to a majority verdict, there was something that happened following me attending court that made me feel that way but prob best not to post about it until after the verdicts etc. x with the high news presence there today there should hopefully be some verdicts in soon x

‘The Pink Stuff’ is great stuff for taking stubborn stains off runners too (and crayons off walls, etc). Look at me sounding domesticated. I really am not!

Not sure about the general public as I was a toddler at the time and only know through documentaries and word of mouth, but even some of her victims’ parents couldn’t believe it at first. Watch the Beverley Allitt Tapes on Now TV if you can.

The parents thought she was innocent! For a long time. By the trial she’d already had a trial by media so she was hated by that point. I’m sure there were plenty that thought it was a failing hospital though, her defence was almost identical to this one minus the tit in the sink.

Speaking of washing, has anyone else put trainers in the washing machine and they've been ok?

I'm pretty useless at housey stuff (I was always in and out of the children's home/abusive life at home) so any advice would be really helpful, pls I've looked on google but there's 503839383 different answers

Put them in max a 800rpm wash, wash them on their own, put them in pillow case (don't know if this does anything tbh but I always do it ), if their white put in some vanish oxygen clean.

Don't tumble dry them!! Stuff them with paper, not newspaper as the ink will stain them, and losen the shoelaces, pull the tounge out and hang them by the laces to dry.

I actually bought a steamer too cause I despise ironing so much I have it 5 years and only used it for the first time on holidays and I loved it !!

Good job you’re not on the jury for picking one thing out of thousands of pieces of information and deciding someone's guilt from that.

" I killed them on purpose" is a strange set of words for an innocent person to write. If you gave most people a pen and told them to write the worse thing they had ever done, you maybe shocked but they wouldn't have deliberately killing in their head. Lucy has never explained why she wrote that.

I do think it’s a bit mean the tone of your reply, let’s not forget this is a 19 year old, who’s experience of the world and life is still very limited, a lot of 19 year olds are very naive, not saying muffinman is, or that all younger people are, just that I can understand a younger persons reasoning for thinking NG more than someone older with more life experience.

I also think it’s not fair to pile on immediately anyone who thinks NG, as clearly there still lots of people who do think that judging by them interesting Reddit mock jury results, I want to hear their reasoning without them being scared of openly saying they think NG.

If you’re washing trainers don’t be an idiot like me and put them in with the laces undone. They wiggled their way in to the holes in the drum and got tangled


Also, don’t waste your life ironing. Get some crease release spray or pay someone to do it for you. Ironing sucks.
