My Room 101 things would be -

- Lee Cooper Leisure Suits or PJ’s

- FB nutters who want Lucifer to move to Ibiza & find a young man to settle down with & run a cat sanctuary 🤢🙄

- head Gill

How do those with lots of kids cope? I can just imagine the kids all waking up at different times in the night so you’re always up. Just as one goes to sleep another starts crying. Please tell me it’s not like that🤣
[/QUOTE]
Depends on the kid I’ve 3 and 2 of them have trouble at night. 1 can’t fall asleep by themself and as soon as you move eyes are open and you’re in a headlock then when you do manage to sneak out like me now at 348am 😩 he will be back in with me by 5am sounds like a baby? He’s 7! Then my older one is a yoyo up and down every hour or 2 pissing about with stuff climbing and doing everything he shouldn’t be. The oldest thought even if awake won’t bother anyone. And I wonder why I’m knackered! 🤪

Me too, I would have a rescue centre for just about every non human there could be. It's been my dream since I was really young. Animals come before humans in my ❤
Same for me as a kid. My friends all said they wanted to get married and have kids, whilst I wanted to live by myself in the middle of nowhere with loads of animals. I always understood animals whereas people just confused me!

Maybe because it's not full of freaky creatures like this...

I'm a midwife. I love it, can't imagine doing anything else. Even if I won the lottery, I would still keep my PIN. I could just choose when I work and never have to work Christmas ever again.

I'd also buy pillows and fans for every single bed space and clean cups and spoons for the staff room. Sometimes we take our lives into our hands using the cutlery in the staff room.
I'm sure covid started in my old staff room 😂 people think hospitals are so clean 🥴

And is it possible the jury weren’t allowed those particular witness statements (baby h) because they came from people who have asked to remain anonymous and it in some way could compromise that?
Aren't they only anonymous in reporting? So the court would know their names anyway.

You could have a great time with practical jokes if astronautically trained, imagine that thing stuck to the window of the shuttle.

I wouldn’t last long, my crewmates would yeet me out into the void pretty sharpish 🤣

i always thought that it was just the babies being named in court, and the media weren’t allowed to report the names because that would compromise the anonymity of the parents who haven’t been named in court? If that makes any sense?

I think all the witnesses have been named in court including the parents and anonymous doctors. They just can’t be named in the media.

The only reporting restrictions I’ve ever seen only mentions the parents and babies. How do the media know which names they can and can’t report? That must get really confusing and is kind of flawed imo

Saw an elderly bloke wearing a Lee Cooper vest on the tube yesterday, couldn’t be bothered to explain to the person I was with why I did a double take and smiled. Never seen any Lee Cooper leisurewear out in the wild before - tbh I’d never heard of it until LL took the stand! 😂

Question: what fascinates you more, the deepest parts of the ocean or space?
Oh man. Both creep me out, but space blows my mind. Like how 95% of the universe is made up of dark matter, but we don’t even know what dark matter is?? U Wot

I know must have been horrific. Flying scares me , it is absolutely my biggest fear.
We went to the 9/11 memorial in New York the day before we flew back to the U.K. - literally all I could think about on the flight (probably should have planned the itinerary better, as I don’t really like flying!) - There’s a part where you can hear the phone calls people from the flights etc made to their loved ones.
The memorial, I don’t even have the words to describe the feeling it gives and leaves you with - but it’s again (a bit like this trial) something you kind of need to bare witness too (like some wise tattler mum said) 😞

@LittleMy I’m exactly the same about flying 🫣 I get through it for the kids and being brave for them helps me pretend I’m not imagining my imminent death the whole time. Also my top tip is gin. Flying at 6:30am in a couple of weeks and I’ll be having a double as soon as the drinks trolley comes by #classy

10 out of 12 majority is so much better than what we have. Here they need 11 out of 12. Another case I was following recently resulted in a hung jury and a new trial set. Hugely expensive. What do you guys think about majority numbers/fairness?
I’m speaking from a point of ignorance but 10-2 majority is better for accommodating the almost inevitable contrarians and/or ditherers.
I hung jury seems like something to be avoided if possible.
I’m also not keen on this blanket media speculation with little, or no, regard for the actual facts. It’s belittling horrendous events to create entertainment regardless of the effect on verdicts.
This is better, we’ll here more about the evil bleep LL after she’s banged up.
ETA: I’m presuming you’re American but 🤷‍♀️
