I only frigging passed with 90% !!!! Absolutely over the moon and hoping this is a good sign that we have another positive result any day now. 🤞🏻

How old is Lucy?
I’ve only seen the harmless pic of her holding the baby grow up until I looked on Twitter.
Seeing the other pics of her our socialising has made it a bit real (I’m 9 months late to the party)

Hey lovely thread fellas! Not had much chance to be on here as I’m on hols down in rainy Cornwall 🙄 at the moment! Keep checking but I see there’s still no news except for the “the question” on Monday. Think it could be a long haul waiting if they haven’t made a decision by now.

I love the smell of petrol and if I could hop on a plane anywhere right now, it would be Australia or Fiji. Not sure what other questions I’ve missed 😂

We all know how frustrating this is when it means a meeting runs on for an extra 5/10 mins. If this is happening the 1 or 2 jurors are dragging this on for DAYS. Off the scale annoying for the others who just want their lives back.

I believe that the reason why BNE might've brought up the fact that only one baby on the ward was receiving TPN was that some people might've speculated that LL could not have poisoned the second bag if she wasn't on shift. That's not what I believe (I know she must've poisoned the second bag too, or as @pissedandsad had said, it might've been the line). But there were people earlier on in the trial (quite a few of them Reddit) who were hell bent on arguing that the prosecution's case can't explain how the second bag got poisoned. Their hypothesis was that other babies would've got poisoned, and we would've heard about that if it had happened. I think BNE mentioned that only one baby received TPN (and that was a mic drop moment for me) was to silence any kind of doubt that the jury might have in their mind, in case they too were wondering how LL would've managed to poison the second bag if she wasn't on shift. But now that we know the baby was the only one receiving a TPN, and we know that LL knew that, what BNE suggested (that she'd poisoned all the bags) makes perfect sense. She knew that she won't be on shift. She knew that this would give her an alibi, but at the same time she'd finish what she'd started. At least, that's what BNE suggested and I think it's the most plausible explanation (at least, as a lay, non-medical person, it makes sense to me).

Regarding the other TPN bags, someone who claimed to be a nurse on Reddit said that they get checked regularly (they have an expiry date) and that they're discarded after a few days. Again, I can't verify that as I have no medical background at all. So LL would've known that unless another baby needs one, then they'd get discarded. But like you said, did she really care? She might've secretly even hoped more babies would've got poisoned.
At the end of the day, both the prosecution and defence (even LL herself) have agreed the babies were poisoned, so it’s irrelevant to the jury deliberation. In fact, I’m very surprised they’re zooming in on this when it’s not contested by anyone. I guess they’re just crossing their t’s to make sure it was LL who definitely did it, and with the other nurse ruled out, it can’t be anyone other than LL.

I know people on Reddit are generally quite thick (I say as a Reddit user myself!) but bloody hell the amount of people that think she’s innocent! Hoping it’s a loud minority :(

I just got a Sky News notification and nearly fell over myself and drop the baby at the same time. Thankfully I did neither! Some alert for a footballer. Feck sake 🙄 me nerves are shot here waiting 🫨
