Lads while we’re waiting, has anyone had a trapped nerve/muscle spasm in their neck and shoulder before and can pls advise? I’ve been given diazepam by the good doc and have the standard ibuprofen/paracetamol but it’s not helping 😭
I have, took painkillers and had a few sessions with a sports physio to sort it out. You have my sympathy as it is not fun at all.

Ah fellas, do you remember I sat a horrible exam a while ago? I got my results. I was not feeling confident as it was quite tricky and thought even if I passed it would be borderline (70% to pass).

I only frigging passed with 90% !!!! Absolutely over the moon and hoping this is a good sign that we have another positive result any day now. 🤞🏻
Massive congratulations! Just confirming what we all knew, you're one super smart lady!

I was going to ask this. My child is flat out refusing to come with me and I really want to see it. So enjoy it for me too xxx
Mini bored refused too cos it’s ‘too pink’ so since he’s away for a week I’m taking myself tomorrow. Don’t have to share my popcorn 😂

I wanna watch Oppenheimer and barbie but I’m rushing more to see barbie since Oppenheimer is historical so I already know what happens. I don’t want barbie ruined for me! Think we’re doing a ‘bevvies, brunch and barbie’ day Saturday. Just need to find something pink! 😂

Amazing news @Tofino - I don’t think any of us ever doubted you’d smash it 🤩. Huge congratulations 🎉

Yes I suffer with this a lot sadly. Ice and heat alternated helps. Regular massage if you can and I’ve got some resistance bands that help too. Really sorry you are suffering it sucks.

Oh and well done @Tofino you brain box! That’s fab news 👍🏻❤

Oh no! Sounds like a torticollis? It can be very painful. Try heat/ice packs and book in with a good physio to release it. Try a scarf around your neck to keep the muscles warm. Miserable. I used to get them a lot.

Fellas, I won’t lie. I am getting nervous. Where is our link!
Ouch! I suffer from this quite a bit (rubbish posture and old neck injury!). I agree with @kata420 and find heat is best for me rather than ice. A really good pillow (I have a memory foam one that I forgot to take away with me last week for a night and I really suffered!). Physio - really helped - can you self refer locally? Try not to keep your neck still either - even though it hurts like hell, you need to keep moving - try doing some simple neck exercises:
  • Look forwards with your head up, (as if you've got a book on your head) then turn your neck to the left -don't try to force it too much if you can't go all the way then back to centre and then to the right
  • Same starting position but this time move your head down so your chin is in your chest then back to centre then move your head upwards
  • Same starting position but tilt your head to one side, back to centre and then to the other side - this is the one that really gets me - absolute agony but really helps to loosen up the neck muscles
With any of these, don't force your neck too much - as your neck muscles loosen, it does get easier and you'll find you can move it more.

Good luck and keep moving x

ETA - just found a good link to video clips that show what I've tried to explain

More charges here I guess but yeah, I think it could be tomorrow or early next week. Like this case, the jury were told to use all the evidence to inform each charge. That’s why I also don’t feel like it should or will take weeks and weeks. 40hrs or so seems realistic.

Congrats @Tofino 🩵🩵

though I think you should have just submitted a link to your wonderful wiki - they'd have taken one look, realised you're a genius and given you 100%!

Not sure it will be today, but hopefully we will have a verdict by Friday. Hoping they are just tying up loose bits now.

In the opening speech BM said
In that dock is a woman who says this is not her fault.
I still find that the oddest thing for defence to say, why isn’t he saying she’s totally innocent and heartbroken she’s been accused of these crimes, but I suppose everything she said on stand she said it wasn’t her or couldn’t remember
let’s hope for a verdict soon, no more questions so they are cracking on.
Well done @Tofino, it’s five o’clock somewhere 🍾🍾

👆🏻 all of this is excellent advice, the key is to use the painkillers and the diazepam to move - the worst thing you can do is rest completely.
Think about your dosing regime - so you could try paracetamol (fairly tit in muscle pain though) and diazepam pre stretch/movement, and have the ibuprofen ready for afterwards for example. I often use Voltarol gel, put an old baggy tee over and then a hot water bottle on top of that - don’t think there’s any medicine or science in it necessarily but for me that’s always worked. Also experience with heat and cold to see which is better for you - heat does the job for me.
Once you’re dosed up, do the stretches above and try to move around as normally as your body can to do things like go to the loo, get food/drink. It won’t feel better after the first or second lot of stretches so don’t be disheartened, it’ll get there after a handful though.
Wouldn’t recommend physio or massage right now as you’re too sore and tight, but once you start to loosen then it would be worth looking in to them so they can help loosen up any remaining tightness and prevent it happening again.
It’ll be a lot better by the weekend I promise, keep going xx
