She's an English woman, I'm an Irish woman, we have to compromise quite a lot 😂😂
Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse you! I don't engage sexually with my foodstuffs.
Damn, maybe that's why I never wanted to be a celebrity. It's never crossed my mind to put condiments in me Southbound lane.
I meant diarrhoea darling 😂😂

But here's some advice off Auntie Della. Don't shove mustard up your (or your Mrs's) muff 😘

Not a poet!

All I needed was love and some drama
Now I’ll never be a baby mama
I know nothing of air emboli
I never heard any baby’s cry
And I don’t deserve this bastardly karma

Oh, you danced the dance, and more
Knew exactly what you were looking for
You are evil and horrid, you did this
For attention, or spite, or a stolen kiss
Boo hoo, you’ll pay with your life evermore

Psychopath. Do they have the death penalty in the state he’s in?
Yes. There was some press about a firing squad.

Yes I'm the one with the blonde hair. I've been following it since she was first arrested. I was still working for the NHS back then and when the trial started and NICU was part of our department which is why I felt really interested. Then last summer my grandson was born and was in NICU for two weeks and his gestation was similar to some of the babies made me feel more sad at what has happened. Each week when we meet up I would tell my friend about the trial and what was happening as she wasn't following it but was interested to know. Eventually I asked her if she wanted to come with me and so we started to come. I wish it had been sooner. Last week when we met up with another friend and told her we'd been to the trial she was horrified that we had wanted to hear about this. You've always sat over the other side to you and whilst I thought I knew who you were I definitely knew when you said you came back late after shopping. My friend said to me that your clothes are always very nice. She likes shopping and always makes me go round the shops when the trial finishes.
Aw some people say the same to me, I don’t think anyone needs to understand why people want to go. Personally I’ve looked after so many babies and children I couldn’t get my head around instead of caring for babies, someone would harm them and I just needed to see for myself and then it’s so hard to walk away from you get invested don’t you! My little boy was looked after by nicu staff and I just can’t even imagine, you put your most prized possessions in their hands never does it cross your mind that they could not have their best interests at heart, let alone hurt them! I occasionally sat at your side, but I just can’t see the screen at all I think I need 👓 ahh tell her I said Thankyou 🥰🥰 how lovely to say. Oh I needed it I found that morning really upsetting.

Thanks Auntie Della! 😂😂
We have enough heat with hot press v airing cupboard over the last 20 odd years.

Personally I’m delighted that the jury aren’t back yet.

1. Because it means they’re actually deliberating and means it’s more likely we can be secure whatever their decision is is the right one (personally can’t see it being anything other than Guilty but they’ve also seen and heard every bit of evidence)
2. Because I’m up to thread 27 and episode 42 of the podcast with a free weekend so I can be fully caught up before they come back (okay it’s mainly for this reason haha)

Not had chance to catch up, but I’ve got this funny feeling today that it’s going to be a hung jury. I really thought if unanimous they’d have a result by now… I hope i’m wrong!

Well, here's a question: what do you call what I (and most Irish people) call a hot press? Airing cupboard or something else? I've been amazed at regional variations!

I get what you are saying! I’m worrying about that too but I’m trying to keep the faith that they are being meticulous going over everything. They’ve only had an hour and a bit so far per charge with 12 people. That’s roughly 5 mins talking per person, per charge. After giving up so much of their time I imagine they want to be thorough with deliberating. The fact they asked for the judges summing up seemed like they wanted a summary to work from but weren’t allowed this!
I could speculate all day and we will never know but keeping the faith in the jury and hoping for the right outcome 🤞
@nosycowmoo is the atmosphere changing as the days go on? Thank you for all your reports back! And I’m really looking forward to you spilling all the deets once the verdict is in 🤐

It’s an airing cupboard over here ( for me at least) but many moons ago my northern Irish boyfriend’s family called it a hot press !

Everyone was weary today. I’m not going to lie I thought this afternoon things seemed a bit off just little things here and there I actually thought the verdict was coming… but nope 😏

You’re doing so well keeping on going everyday and waiting. We are all on tenterhooks just waiting on our phones so I can’t imagine what it’s like waiting in person soaking up all the emotions in the room. Even more so for the parents of the babies 💔. Hoping the verdict comes soon 🤞

I have never followed a trial before until this one. It has been really interesting learning about the court processes.
It’s really made me realise how much I underestimated the job of a juror. I am pretty sure there will be some (hopefully many) of them fighting tooth and nail to get the Guilty verdict over the line. Probably losing many hours sleep over it (I know I would). I’m so grateful for them!

Have they asked any questions since they asked for the judges transcript? I would hope Dan would report it but I also thought we might have had a question by now, esp as they asked for the transcript but were denied it.

Not one… nothing 🙇🏽‍♀️ thought it might give an indication of where they were up to if they did ask something
