Hey guys forgive my ignorance, but I am a bit lost as to where we are with this case. Are we waiting on the jury to deliberate now or is there still more closing argument? I follow the thread on and off but have got a bit lost the past week or so and I'm not as court savvy as most seem to be

to keep it on-topic: the judges summing up has highlighted a lot of deficiencies in the daily reporting, looking on to seeing the inevitable Netflix documentary which I expect will fill in even more gaps

Never Fry's Turkish Delight, which tastes like a dish sponge which was wiped on a rose bush, then on some cooking chocolate.

I do apologise, I'm newly registered here. I'm not ginger. I am Irish and we don't have Matalan over here. I've never noticed one on my frequent trip to the UK, so there's probably a reason for that. I don't have things with words on in my house. I don't leave sparkles everywhere I go, I don't like littering.
I've been reading since the thread began, had read the Nicola Bulley thread and the Archie Battersbee one (jmaj and the wee donkey at that one)
Letsbyhavingya is guilty, imo and I am very happy to be here with all you empathetic, lovely, smart and very funny fellas. Thanks for having me and for making this such a safe place.

The judge is doing his summing up of the case as a whole this week. Deliberations are due to start next week. No court on Friday this week.

When it's mum vs letby it is 100% the mum telling the truth. No way would any mum forget or make those details up. What have they got to gain. That's glaring for me so the jury will see that too.

I know who I believe! I remember every last detail and timings about my kids births, which both ended up being emergency c-sections - and luckily they were both fine. They are now in their early 20’s and I still remember the details.

No way is any mum going to forget or misremember such traumatic details either - they will have thought about them so many times over the years and will never forget them. Baby E’s mum even has the timing of the call she made to her husband to collaborate her evidence.

Makes me so mad and disgusted that grieving parents are being treated in this way. My heart goes out to them

That takes me back - I think I’d blanked those words out of my memory and I’ve just had flashbacks to the two big ICU’s that I used to work at. The number of times keys went home with people or were chucked into the laundry with scrubs as well

I respect your opinion too, that’s what makes life interesting. I just think with a lot of thinks that go to court we don’t always get the “caught red handed” and circumstantial is all we get, like yeah there may be another explanation but when we’re looking at the amount of “coincidences” in this case, I just can’t see it. It’s hard nobody wants to believe someone is capable of these crimes. It’s human nature to want her to be innocent I totally get that cause the alternative is unthinkable.

Are you currently undecided? What do you think would convince you either way? Sorry if yoI’ve said already I’m massively behind on the thread this afternoon.
