Waiting for Facebook and the Twitter two to start shouting the judge is biased 🤣
Genuinely think a lot of the FB group were just unsure and BM’s word jumble helped to persuade them that there’s too much doubt and for that reason they have edged towards NG.
The Twitter lady is beyond being able to look at anything objectively I think.. stopped engaging with her a long time ago.

I think from what we have seen so far the judge will be swift but fair in his summary, and hopefully break through a lot of the word play that court drama brings.

Posted as the last thread locked. How is everyone feeling now the verdict is so close to coming? I'm praying for a guilty verdict for all the families so they can get justice.
I don't know how much I'll be able to follow today as in a and e with mini Caledonian as he's not putting on weight as he should despite constantly feeding and he's very sleepy so much so I'm struggling to wake him for feeds (13 yesterday and had to wake him for 9 of them 😢)
Awww little baby Caledonian 😔 Hope you can get some answers and he gets better soon. Big hugs mumma x

waiting to be seen just now but a and e is oddly busy for a Monday morning. Thank you for the kind words. I hope we can get to the bottom of what's wrong with him as its horrible when they aren't well
you should be seen quickly with a pre-imms baby. Hope all goes ok lovely.

congrats @Lucyxxxx 🩷🩵 though you’ll have to be the sober responsible adult when we all get smashed celebrating the verdict 🤪

Gonna read through in a minute but I need to share.... I am with child...
Well, that really is lovely news and so nice on a thread like this for it to be interspersed with humour and the reminder that life is so much stronger than death 😍

Hello! Newly joined today. I became aware of Tattle via the Nikki Bulley case but I have since been following this one on here. Thanks so much for the insightful posts from those who have been to court, from those in both the medical and legal fields, and for the laugh-out-loud stuff at times (despite the dark nature of the thread). She is 100% guilty of every charge, and more-then-likely many more to come as well. I have cast my guilty vote.
I’m not ginger, Turkish Delight is one of the few chocolates I eat and I definitely do not own a Matalan card, but my username and avatar probably give my age away...

I want to have faith in the jury but having been on a jury... I am not confident. (We did get to the right verdict in the end but I was shocked by some of the dimwittery.)
I’ve tried to find the update on CS where it mentioned BM asked the jury to refer to page .. of something like 34,000 pieces of evidence 😳 How are the jury supposed to get through all that! I hope the judges summing up helps their clarity for the case for guilty verdicts

The trial is resuming after a short break.

The judge is continuing the summing up, in the case of Child A.

He recalls what Letby had said in police interview, and recalled 'red, purple blotchy markings' on Child A, which she thought were signs of an infection.

She believed there was an issue with the long line, and Melanie Taylor had connected the fluids to Child A.

Child A's death was not expected or anticipated.

She said she thought the bag of fluid was 'not what they thought it was', but they had checked it afterwards.

She said she did not keep in touch with the parents, and did not recall what she did with the handover notes.

She said she did not know much about air embolisms, and all staff were "meticulous" about precautionary checks to prevent that happening.

She denied pushing air through the line.

She could not recall using social media to search for the mother of Child A, and when asked to explain searches for the mother on Facebook, said she could not do so.

Letby said the fluid bag should be contained and put in the sluice room for checking.

She said staffing levels conntributed to the death of Child A, citing difficulties with the long line and Child A's lack of fluids for several hours.

She said if air embolus was the cause, Melanie Taylor was responsible.

She disagreed with the descriptions of skin discolouration given by a nursing colleague and Dr Harkness.

She said searching for the parents was a "common pattern of behaviour" for her.

Ooo I love that he's highlighting the differences between in answers, and how her story has changed. If he's going to do that for each baby, that's pretty powerful I think.
