It’s such a sweet name but I don’t think I could bring myself to use it currently 🙈 try not to worry if you do go for it, you can’t control these things anyway.
I remember it’s because you liked the book and I think Annie is a gorgeous name with the same feel as Lucy. Or you could mix it up with Lucille. I love an old lady name so I’d even be tempted by Maud 🤣 I never got to use a girls name but have helped name lots of my friends girl babies with my huge lists I made when pregnant. Might be why the Letby prison names came so easily to me 🤣🤣
My girls name would have been Dorothy 💕 my Nana’s middle name.

Wendy Juryfindyouguilty (sorry just came to me 🤣)
Aww my nana was actually called Dorothy! It was on my girls list of names too. But I had a boy.

Hey - newbie here joining in the last throes here 👋🏼

I’ve read a lot of the wiki - good job what a huge amount of info - but wondering if anyone knows why the doctor hasn’t been named?

I’m a court reporter, in Scotland but most media reporting laws are similar as in England. Normally a witness wouldn’t be named if they were under 18, it’s dangerous for the witness (ie snitching on gang crime) they are the victim of a sex crime or if revealing their name could hinder a future trial.

Anyone know where mystery doc falls

I could be off-base but I feel like this should be pretty easy to verify. If a friend of a friend can find out details about the investigation then it can't be that well hidden. Were any of the experts in the case struck off lately and it was just never mentioned? Lol
Exactly..that bloody group needs shutting down😡

I took a screenshot when I got this this morning, obviously no coincidence and I find it a bit creepy tbh…

Can anyone explain why omitting mentioning the neopuff to the doctor for child p was meant to make it look like child p had an ongoing problem? And how did it persuade doctor noname to come over?

I was mega surprised today when one of my lovely elderly ladies mentioned the "killer nurse" I asked if she meant Lucy and she said "darling go rinse your mouth for saying that horrific name" she warned her great great granddaughter, who is pregnant with a girl, about the name which I thought was rather funny bless her soul💖

On our little off topic of the evening about superstitions also - putting a coin in a purse/wallet/money box when gifting🙈
Oh, that one is really nice!!!

Letby was designated nurse for a baby in room 2 and a baby in room 3.

Ashleigh Hudson was designated nurse for Child I and another baby.

Child I was in a "virtually perfect" clinical scenario, Mr Johnson says.

He says Letby "got herself involved".

Child I gave a 'cry that had not been heard before' - 'loud and relentless', according to Ashleigh Hudson, who interpreted it as "distress".

When she was repositioned on her tummy at about midnight, Child I stopped breathing.

Resuscitation efforts began and Child I then began to fight the ventilator.

Dr John Gibbs was told Child I had had an abnormal cry.

He was 'perplexed' at Child I's rapid deterioration and recovery, which would not show a sign of infection.

Mr Johnson says Letby falsified paperwork for one of her designated babies at this time - the baby to be transferred to Stoke.

Letby recorded a note at 10.50-10.52pm note of a 10% glucose infusion for the 'Stoke baby'.

The infusion note is written as starting at '2300', and that writing is changed to '2400'. Mr Johnson says it was changed to give Letby an "alibi" for midnight.

Mr Johnson says further times are overwitten/changed on Child I's infusion chart - from 12.15am to 12.25am, and one to a time at 1.25am, which Mr Johnson says puts it out of sequence between '1.28am' and '1.48am' on the chart.

Quick question, obviously BNE and BM are very pricey, and I was just wondering whether LL would have had to pay, or because this is such a high profile and horrific case, whether subsidies would have been made to make it a fair trial? I can't imagine BNE would have done this for less than 500k? I might be massively over estimating but from previous experience of friends going through the court system (quite high profile, prison time, huge mistake which cost a life), and of course not your everyday person has this kind of money. If anyone has any answers i would be most interested.

Could there potentially be any mums or dads on the Jury who had children in a NICU them selves or would that be classed as a bias?

I wonder what it was about the holiday to Ibiza that made her lose all control like BNE says? She went with 2 friends and I’m wondering if she felt she wasn’t getting enough attention - like maybe her friends had better luck with men or were celebrating some good news. Most people come back to work relaxed after a holiday! She came back more homicidal and desperate.

I did once note that some of the attacks seemed to happen after hen dos, weddings, Valentine’s Day (based on social media). Ibiza seems to fit that pattern.

Must say I was also shocked to read that between July 2016-2018 she had a very very very active social life. I thought it was just maybe till end of 2016. How can anyone be so brazen to be seen out and about on social media knowing you’re being investigated for baby deaths for 2 years! On the stand she said she lost her confidence, but she never mentioned feeling fear, anxiety or worry. If I was being investigated for murder by the police, I’d be sick with fear on what might happen, whether id messed up somehow, and lay low till it blew over. Not posting prosecco shots on FB, and having an affair.
I thought she went to Ibiza with her parents.
