I was in court again today. It was full of public this morning, people left every so often and just 4 public and 5 police by the end of the day. Quietest I w ever seen it. It was a long day. There’s so much info and as much as I adore BNE his voice is a bit like one of those go to sleep voices. I don’t think there’s much to add content wise. But was awful to hear how many parts were sooo similar. She really did just falsify notes and repeatedly target certain babies. No parents in this afternoon either, one left crying this morning nothing from LL just the same expression as always. He was really pushing the circumstantial evidence today and guiding them that they should link certain cases etc. not as interesting as cross exam. I’m not in tmoro but Oliver is and I’ll be there for the defence opening - hopefully on Friday

The pressure on him to represent and seek justice for all the babies and their grieving families. He's a seasoned pro but this is a case unlike any other. It must be emotive for him. He's been amazing.

I wonder what her parents think amongst all of this. Have they got their rose tinted parent goggles on and think their daughter is innocent? Or are they listening to all of the evidence thinking god our daughter is potentially a killer.

My gut feeling when I saw them in person was that they know. They came out of the cross on Baby O, P and Q and went and had a ciggie each without speaking.

There's been no protest from them that she's innocent. Telling IMO.

Same. I think the dignity and restraint they have shown is like a special gift to their children. It’s allowed the trial to continue and not given her something for her to claim unfair treatment etc over. They have been so brave. Just to sit there with this monster that took their children must take so much of them. They’ve done their children proud.

Defence rested their case last week after Lucy and The Plumber gave their evidence.

This week should see prosecution start their closing statement, followed by Defence and then next week or week after judge will do his final summing up before sending the jury out for deliberation (judge said he expects this to happen w/c 3rd July presuming no more delays).

I realize this sounds thick - maybe I am! How do you make a new post from an iphone? I know I knew it once, but I can’t locate that file at moment. My 91 year old mother has been in the hospital with congestive heart failure, and me there in another state 4 1/2 hours away from home. Then to the attorney today to get power of attorney so I can take care of her affairs as needed. Meanwhile, at home, my 40 year old daughter just had her first ever mammagram and next thing you know it was 2 types of cancer & on to a consult with the surgeon this week. Trust me, I would rather have been on here admiring BNE these last days. Won’t you guys say a prayer or send brave thoughts, focus on positive outcomes, or whatever it may be - for my precious girl and mother? Thank you!

Listening to what happened to the triplets is really so horrific. The defence have only said they could have had “CPAP” belly. Letby said they gulped air. This is so so ridiculous it is almost painful. Listen to those symptoms and the details of what that baby went through. There is no natural explanation. There is no virus that does that in this space of time. Anyone defending this really needs to take a long hard look at themselves as to why!!

I also feel sorry for the doctor who did the CPR and was tormented by the fact that she thought she might have caused the liver injury at the time of CPR. No name was texting Letby at the time and telling her about this. We now hear that the liver injury occurred well before the CPR.

It took me until now to catch up because with every update yesterday came such sorrow

I just sat in silence for 30 seconds and I cannot fathom how she just stood there and watched that poor baby just slowly losing her life.
I then reset the timer and did another 30 seconds whilst holding my breath. I got to 20 seconds and felt the urge to breathe and I was fighting that urge until I had no choice but to breathe. Poor little baby K had just arrived in this world and that evil piece of shit tortured her for her own sick enjoyment. Honestly I hope someone smothers the bitch every night for the rest of her miserable life so that she can experience just a fraction of what she did.

I always wait until I've heard everything when following trials and believe in innocence until guilt is proven but in this case there is absolutely no way that she didn't do all of this and very likely much more. She has told us herself. She is a special kind of sicko and I just hate that she's been allowed to relive her deplorable crimes through this trial.

Hell is waiting for you Lucy Letby, karma will get you and when it does there will be no sadness for you. Nobody will give a damn, there will be no attention and no positive recognition of anything you ever did. You will not be fondly remembered by anybody. So all of this, in the end, was for nothing.
