I'm going to tell you all something that I've never told anyone. I used to be a med sec in a victorian building that had been converted for admin use, but used to have patients in it. All the rooms, corridors and stairs had panic buttons that linked to a central console in the main hall.She absolutely thrived off of drama. And if there wasn’t any then she caused some
When my manager upset me or one of my colleagues pissed me off, or I was really bored, I used to go and press one of the panic buttons.
Because it was so rambling and twisty I could get away from the button by the time everyone marched downstairs, found where it was sounding on the panel and found the key to turn it off at the switch.
It was incredibly petty, my only defence is that I was much younger then. And no one got hurt.
This feels very much the same, on a massively more horrific scale.

All the texting colleagues so many details of babies who are 'going off' is quite alarming imo. I've never done that, we deal with what we deal with at work, off duty colleagues don't need (or probably want) the ins and outs. It's almost like it was a compulsion to text every single detail of a baby's demise. So so weird and absolutely not normal behaviour.

Yesterday my husband fecked off to Ireland and left me with the unenviable task of painting 36 fence panels. (He's not a big selfish bastard, his family are there, last minute trip and I stayed to look after the dogs amd have some peace)
We spoke last night and I said if I see one more drop of paint I will explode!
Amazon just delivered another fucking tin of paint with the note 'If you're going to explode will you step away from the fence'
I *may* use his golf stick to stir the paint

The judge then concludes proceedings early, "having observed the witness" he says it has been a "long day" for Letby.
It's been a long day for the poor parents, the jury and the rest of the staff in that court room... never mind snivelling Forgetby!!!!!!!!

Evening all.. I’m just about caught up but not as thoroughly as I could be! Need to check back over Dan and Sky.
Looks like another very interesting day and another masterclass from Nick. As someone that thought they knew this case very well (all thanks to queen @Tofino ’s wiki) I am really shocked at all the fine details we’re getting to hear now. Just how many times she falsified things, making up when parents were there, making up reporting things to SHO and serious incidents that no doctors have reported. She was really entertaining herself.
I’ve always been struck by how often the parents’ statements describe having just left but how Big Nick Energy™️ laid it out today was really quite incredible- it’s really all becoming clear. These things are not coincidences.
Poor little darling baby H, pulling their drain out.. how sick can you get. And claiming checking the drain wasn’t her responsibility? What is she on. Couldn’t work out a stoma but she’s quite happy to do the other procedure with the tube that she shouldn’t have done? Nothing adds up does it.
I’m shocked how many babies had bleeding, how many seemed to be filled with fluid and how glaringly obvious it now feels that even with trickier cases like G and H there is just no doubt at all there was deliberate harm.
Someone upthread summed up the word slip up with ‘looking for…at’ perfectly so I won’t bother but it is definitely a pinnacle moment.
She mentioned twice in her police interview that the lights were off for this incident and then from the stand she told the jury that the light are never off. She is just absolutely done for and I am here for it
The cleverest thing Nick does is to get her to go through and accept that for each collapse there isn’t evidence it was medical negligence/incompetencies that actually caused it and there isn’t evidence that the actual collapse was down to staffing. So what is causing these babies to nearly die/die. There just isn’t decent medical explanation. How are baby b, m, h going from the brink of death to ok a few hours later? No doubt in my mind at all that she’s guilty and never ever tasting freedom again

Oh wow on Facebook someone went there today, and the experience has reluctantly removed most doubt for her.
She said Lucy seemed resigned and fed up. She also spent an extremely long time answering every single question, and would look through her massive folders for ages before giving an answer for anything. She said it was so awkward you could hear a pin drop when she claimed she didn't know about it being difficult to look in a dark room from a bright corridor, and when she did her "I knew what I was looking for" slip up. She said the latter was surreal because the judge almost immediately wrapped things up after that.

Crash call bleep data is made at 1.04am and 1.06am for Child H."
So every obs is fine apart from this mystery, missing 1am obs (clearly done by Lucifer) then baby crashes. I am sorry how can anyone say she is innocent? How can anyone say there is no evidence?!

I'm not fully caught up yet, but I'm now at where court ended yesterday (10 more pages to go) and I'm pretty sure I'm rambling.
After seeing the evidence yesterday, it's so much worse than I originally thought.
I've always thought she was guilty, something has never sat right and it's such an awful thing to be accused of, why would you take parents and families through all this otherwise.
But I'd kind of got the idea she just took opportunity to attack these babies. Like just seizing the moment, randomly doing it because she wanted to and the timing was right.
Yesterday to me has revealed how sadistic she truly is. Fudging paperwork, trying to place others there when it was her, all the lies and blaming others. Not only that, but she seems to cause as much pain as she can to these poor little babies. All of them must have felt such pain and that's from the evidence we have. God knows what else she has probably done to these babies and many more.
These attacks feel a lot more planned than I thought, enough that she messed with paperwork to try and place it on other people.
She is an absolute monster. To cause all this pain in poor little babies, most already fighting really hard to stay alive, because sometimes the odds against them. To think she may have caused them so much pain in their last moments, with their parents not there to comfort them and cuddle and soother them is breaking me. To cause all these parents and families so much heartache and loss.
She should absolutely just rot in a cell for the rest of her long, lonely, miserable life and I hope she does. I couldn't give a shit of whatever motive she had anymore. She is pure evil and no motive is enough to explain the devastation she has left.

Definitely think MT is the one who wouldn't speak to her after A&B since LL was being a creepy weirdo constantly trying to talk about Child A's death.
'Nice Lucy' is falling apart isn't it? Not only from her behaviour on the stand but it's becoming apparent some of her colleagues couldn't stand her and that she was a right cow to them.

The details coming out made me realise that it’s far worse than I first thought. Air embolus & insulin - awful, but it’s so much worse than even that. Liver trauma, babies with bleeding throats, chest drains pulled out. God it’s beyond evil and cruel.
