Letby says the experts presented evidence of overfeeding.

"How would they know? Which experts?" Mr Johnson asks.

Letby takes a sip of her water and does not reply to this question, staring straight ahead in silence.

She's run out of lies so staying silent now.

She knows EXACTLY what she did to that baby.

How dare she have the audacity to sit there silently staring?

Not one ounce of remorse shown for these poor little babies, their families and all the medical staff she's blaming.

Generally it backs up the pipes to enter the sink through the plug. You'd be horrified to learn how often this happens, and how infrequently wards/areas are shut as a result.
Yeh, I could maybe understand it coming through the plug. Personally I’ve never heard of it but 🤷‍♀️
I should imagine it would only be in susceptible areas under certain circumstances.
Surely it would be enough to shut a neonatal unit?
ETA: bottled water was provided for hand washing in the instance I mentioned, prior to individual tap filters being fitted.

Does anybody else want to chokeslam her right now? So frustrating! She’s coming across very cocky in today’s reporting. Can’t wait to hear if she was from our lovely Tattler in court.

How are the morons on Facebook gonna swing her being silent and refusing to answer a question as her being innocent?

What a lying witch.

From Sky's reporting

Letby says the experts presented evidence of overfeeding.

"How would they know? Which experts?" Mr Johnson asks.

Letby takes a sip of her water and does not reply to this question, staring straight ahead in silence.

Mr Johnson then asks about the scene when Letby and her colleagues discovered Child G had vomited onto the floor.

Would love to know how this seemed in the court room, how long the silence went on before NJ carried on with questions.
@nosycowmoo We need the details when you're home!

Lucy now has a new excuse: 'oversight'.

And the experts are wrong when it suits her...but right when it fits her story.

Edited to add: and if her account that it was 2.15 was true why wait 20 mins to call the Dr after a projectile vomit the like of which she'd never seen before in a neonate?

Would the judge not say something to her though if she’s refused to answer ?

Her answers are coming across so emotionally stunted….

Like when you’re at school in trouble so you just stay quiet and look at the floor till the teacher stops asking why you had fags in your bag. Or say you forgot or your mum left them there for safekeeping and it was an oversight not to take them out.

tit like that doesn’t fly in the adult world

So Lucy is trying to use the expert evidence to her advantage (not working though).

Lucy said ‘the experts presented evidence of over feeding’. And lo and behold Lucy is saying it’s possible the nurse overfed.

I didn’t get the relevance of it taking twice as long but I’m guessing the argument is that it’s unlikely that would happen, and it wouldn’t take twice as long for Lucy to ‘overfeed’ because she would have forced the milk through quickly 😔

The arrogance of her to ask if the 100mls was documented!!!!

I'm confused. Why would sge say experts say there was evidence of overfeeding? What the hell is she on about?

Have I missed something.. Why would she say that when she knows the experts and the prosecution blame her for overfeeding.?

What's the bet we don't see her parents in court tomorrow...

No wonder her friend left in tears, she knows she did it.

I'm totally baffled by this..

Nobody knows their babies like the parents do. Except baby E’s mum who doesn’t understand the difference between ‘screaming’ and ‘a bit unsettled’

She’s making me so bloody angry, her attitude towards the parents is disgusting whether you think she’s innocent or not!!

“Asked if she agrees with Child G's father that Child G was "not the same" after the first deterioration, Letby replies: "I can't comment on that, nobody knows their babies like the parents do.“

Manipulative cow purely trying to point-score with the jury on that answer
