Could the blood have been in the nappy from him swallowing it and then passing it- showing her timeline to be a lie?

I think it’s possible there was no blood in the nappy, and it wasn’t noted by anyone else. Bloody stools are a sign of NEC which she is trying to pass off as the cause of death. If she reported blood in the nappy there would have been less suspicious questions. (Just my opinion though)

I’m so hopeful that the jury are seeing through these bloody lies.

I'm a bit worried about all the 'can't recall.' It's been 8 years since some of these incidents, is 'can't recall' going to be plausible to the jury in that circumstance? I know it's balls, but... I can't recall what I was doing 8 years ago either! Except reading bloody Datix reports

BNE is doing a great job. She is done. Blaming the sink tubes for poor Baby E's death. That is so nonsensical. That just wouldn't happen, if there really was raw sewage coming up through the sink the unit would have been closed down and Letby would have reported it. She wouldn't have been the only one to notice either, the whole unit would have been aware. Lying bleep.

Yeah but it's lies. Hopefully obvious to the jury. She can remember that the blood on E's mouth was definitely not there till 10pm exactly. But she can't remember E's mum coming to the ward at 9? balls to that. It's so obvious to us she doesn't recall the bits that will incriminate her. Letby you are guilty you murderous despicable bleep. Like to see what the FB group say about this but will save it till later to have a look!

Thing is these events aren’t all mundane tasks that we do on a daily basis at work, they were huge events resulting in the deaths of babies (some were collapses rather than deaths of course). I think you would remember exactly what had happened, who had done what etc. you’d have to process that traumatic event that had happened infront of your eyes. there’s things that have happened in my working life over the last 8 years that I can remember clear as day because they were important/big things so I do remember details, who said what etc. so no I don’t think “I don’t recall” will cut it. Plus she can say some things for certain but can’t recall others? It’s bull.

hopefully the jury can see what we can - she says she can’t recall if it’s something incriminating (like the various conversations with parents and other staff) But she can supposedly recall things that help her (like she can recall she was not at the cotside when the babies collapsed) - it’s very very selective. Plus because she is lying so much she has zero credibility.

Oh I thought bile was stomach acid, but it’s from the bowels? Ok it makes sense. So if she is saying it was bile aspirated at 9pm she would have had to act as quickly as if it was bleeding, and we know she didn’t act until 10pm.

Bile is acidic but it is secreted in the upper half of the small intestine, just after the stomach. That's why with continuous vomiting in the end you start vomiting bile because the stomach is so empty and the reverse contractions of the GI tract push bile into the stomach.
